No they manufacture empty Cylinders and you can fill it with anything CO2 / O2 ...etc
Attach a Valve on the top / Fill it with CO2 / add Pressure Gauge / Diffusers and you have a CO2 System in place. This person can ship the cylinders to you at any place in India Freight charges are Extra |

I know that but the co2 cylinders are not easy to get refilled atleast here - will check with the o2 guys!
I think when I last enquired they told me they have a different type of pressure valve for both the o2 and co2 cylinders - not sure if it is right
If yes please let me know the price of the co2 pressure valves!
Thanks |

In Bangalore the cost of a 2 kg CO2 cylinder is about Rs. 2500. How come in Delhi the price of CO2 cylinders is so cheap? I mean there is no comparison between Rs. 2500/- & Rs. 250/-.

In Bangalore, typically a 2 kg cylinder (used one ) comes for Rs. 2500/- & these are Indian made cylinders. Regulator etc are additional. The "Eagle" brand regulator is widely used & costs about Rs. 675/-.

Not really. Each type of gas is filled in a cylinder which is different from others. The difference is in the type of coupling on the top of the cylinder. A co2 gauge will not / should not / cannot be attached attached to a oxygen cylinder. The filling station also has safe guards to prevent the co2 being filled in a oxygen cylinder.
What if someone is rushed to the hospital & oxygen is administrated to him & it turns out someone filled co2 instead of oxygen in that cylinder ? Just think about. The cylinders are now made to prevent this from happening. |

I agree with Ravi,
the guy who I talked to also told me that the cylinders are of different grade and the o2 cylinders are not or cannot be used for co2 refilling.
As for sourcing the fountain drinks guys - I think it is not necessary as the home soda maker guys can be of help there! You can buy a spare cylinder from the guys who sell the home soda-maker - such cylinders are small and easily snug in the sides or the back of a tank! |

Hi! All,
What's the take on the price difference? Rs.2500 in Bangalore vis-a-vis Rs. 250/- in Delhi for a 2kg CO2 cylinder. I understand things are generaly expensive in Bangalore as compared to other places but then this difference seems to be very high.
Any comments would be highly appreciated.

Saugata |
