Man, this is tragic news...never met him personally, but he was a very helpful person, I am out of words to describe his generosity and friendly nature.
This came to me as a shock when I found it posted on AHH(orkut community).
Sincere condolences to his close ones...RIP |

when we are born, we cry and the world rejoices. live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
i found the meaning for the above trevor.
never met him personally but still there is a dullness in my heart and a choke in my throat. going through all the R.I.P posts and still cant believe it. |

Trevor's greatest fear was dying alone at home with no one around.
He went the way he'd have wanted to, on a collection trip, laughing with his friends and happy.
To him IAH was family, to nurse, guide and protect.
And he was possessive about this family.
If it was so suddenly he had to go, it could well have been many more years later.
The fishchasers would still be going on trips for him. |

All,
Too Bad a News to hear that one among left this world though I know him only by IAH posts. Is there a Photograph any where in IAH? I searched IAH but could not get any . It may be a good idea to keep a place for the departed souls from IAH, with a photograph of them as a tribute to them. This forum may last for many years and our younger ones may read about their ancestors through that link.
with best regards,
Sudheer |

Dear Sudheer,
Yesterday I posted 'Remembering Trevor' which has a link to the post on our first meeting (with photographs).
Now that he is no more with us, these have become more precious, something to treasure and remember the good time.
I really appreciate the last two lines in your post - and wish IAH would do something on these lines - for posterity.
Warm Regards,
K Ram (Matsyapremi)

This is soo sad. I met Trevor so many times, took his advice on so many things. Even got a tank from him once. He was one of the true fish guides I've ever met. I learned so much from him, I can't even begin to explain.
If he had to go, thank God he went the way he wanted to. I'm going to miss you Trevor. On the few occasions that I came for the Sunday meet, your jovial persona was one of the few things to look forward to. Take care, wherever you are big guy.
Somebody mentioned a plaque in honor of Trevor, if it's ok with everyone, I don't mind getting it done for him. It would be an honor to do something for Trevor after all things he has done for me and all the knowledge he shared with me.
R.I.P. Trevor.
With lots of love,
Navil |
