 Hi
 Welcome  to  IAH
 Good  to  have  you.  Smile
Kindly  always  post  details  of  yout  tank  like  size,  how  long  set  up,  planted  unplanted  etc.  This  will  help  others  in  answering  your  queries  better.
By  fighter  do  you  mean  Siamese  Fighter  or  "Betta".
Only  one  male  can  be  kept  in  a  tank,  more  than  that  they  will  tear  each  other  apart  that  is  the  rason  why  they  are  called  fighters.  Although  being  a  air  breather  it  can  live  in  very  small  spaces  it  needs  about  3  gallons  to  be  comfortable.
In  a  large  tank  there  shoulfd  be  partitions  to  seprarte  the  males.
Search  this  site  for  more  information

 HI  and  welcome  to  IAH...
Give  us  some  details  of  your  tank  and  what  fish  you  have.
Fighters  are  very  easy  to  keep  and  don't  have  too  many  requirements  except  the  bit  where  the  males  brutally  kill  each  other  when  kept  together    Smile

darilius,  Welcome  to  IAH  -  I  would  suggest  you  to  feed  some  good  flake  food  as  well  as  some  freeze  dried  blood  worms  and  tubifex  worms  -  Please  be  kind  to  let  us  know  if  you  bred  the  bettas  yourself  that  you  are  rearing  or  bought  the  fry  on  expert  advise  of  the  LFS.

 Darilius,
I'm  sure  when  you  say  fighter  you  mean  bettas.
There  is  enough  information  on  the  net  about  the  keeping  and  breeding  bettas.
www.bettatalk.com  is  supposed  to  be  a  good  one.
In  my  experience  tubifex  worms  are  bad  because  the  fish  sometimes  gets  an  infection  and  dies.I  feed  them  mosquitoe  larvae  or  blood  worms  if  available.I  keep  my  female  bettas  together  .occasionally  they  flare  at  each  other  ..but  nothing  serious  happens.
i  havent  seen  any  of  the  exotic  varieties  of  bettas  here  in  chennai  ..except  the  crowntail  for  which  the  LFS  guy  was  charging  a  price  i  certainly  thought  wasnt  worth  paying.keep  posting.
