Hi...  I  stripped  an  Auratus  yesterday.  Below  is  the  process  I  followed.  Any  suggestions/corrections?

 1.  Move  the  fish  to  a  another  tank  when  find  it  holding.

 2.  Do  not  feed  the  fish  for  3  weeks.  After  3  weeks,  net  the  fish.

 3.  Gently  hold  the  fish  with  wet  hands.

 4.  Using  a  toothpick,  open  the  mouth.

 5.  Dip  the  mouth  in  water.  the  fry  will  swim  out.

 6.  Here  are  the  Fry.

 7.  Set  up  a  breeding  tank  for  the  next  pair.

 nice  buds,
i  basically  strip  up  the  female  if  i  want  to  save  the  fry  from  other  fish,
if  the  fish  is  being  moved  to  a  different  tank  then  i  dont  think  that  stripping  is  really  necessary,
 \just  my  2  cents

BTW  the  stripping  process  u  showed  above  is  the  same  which  i  follow  and  its  the  best  AFAIK

Thanks  Mudassir.  I  wanted  to  try  stripping,  so  tried  on  this  one.  After  how  many  days  should  the  female  be  removed  from  the  tank  after  she  spits?
