 Thanx  jerin  and  amazonia.
I  haven't  thought  of  the  fish  yet  as  that  is  a  secondary  thing  for  me  in  this  tank.  Focusing  on  healthy  plants  this  time.  Dont  know  if  I'll  be  able  to  set  it  as  I  want  to.  Though  I  know  I  won't  quit  trying  till  I  get  it  right.
Thanx  for  the  suggestions  about  the  fish.  I've  kept  these  species  successfully  in  the  past  and  rummynose  is  one  of  my  favs.  Wink

If  you  have  not  yet  planted,  don't  use  soilrite,  the  perlite  in  this  keep  popping  up  when  u  replant.

Also  coco  peat  may  have  salt  if  they  are  not  of  good  quality.

mine  is  a  small  setup,  60  ltr...also  using  3  kg  of  soilrite,  500gm  laterite,  one  handfull  cocopeat  and  2tsp  vermicompost  and  mineral  water...and  also  upper  gravel

it  is  kept  for  settledown  with  water...but  want  to  remind  you  as  said  by  SHANPURU  PERLITE  cause  problem...I  am  facing  the  same.

due  to  a  small  mistake  I  made  in  the  base  scape...I  had  to  change  a  small  portion  of  the  base  and  perlite  came  out  from  the  bottom...tank  is  under  filtration  now...no  plants  or  fishes  added...

 best  of  luck...ARNAV
