 Dear  IAHians,

I  have  a  query  with  the  Vastu  associated  with  the  fish  tank  position  in  your  home?I  read  in  some  place  that  one  should  keep  tank  in  a  certain  position  of  the  house  or  certain  corner  etc.  Do  anyone  of  you  follow  such  instructions? If  yes, then  did  you  find  any  notable  change  in  your  life?

I  am  just  curious  and  want  to  find  out  anyway  if  this  affecting  our  life?

Thanks  in  advance  for  the  comments.

I  kept  guppy  fry  in  a  bottle  in  my  dad's  rented  house  when  I  was  13,  all  fry  died  and  I  got  out  of  the  hobby.

I  have  only  lived  in  own  house  since  I  got  back  into  the  hobby.

i  dont  think  there  is  anything  such  as  vastu  fish  or  fish  tank  placed  in  a  particular  place  to  get  the  good  in  the  house,  its  just  trick  of  the  mind  and  the  shop  keepers  getting  moolah  sayin  that  this  is  a  vastu  fish  etc..,  i  have  tanks  in  all  nooks  and  corners  of  the  house  you  can  imagine,   i  havent  seen  any  change,  whatever  change  i  have  seen  is  only  through  my  hardwork,

I  have  kept  aquariums  both  in  self  owned  house  and  rented/company  provided  residence.
In  both  cases  aquariums  have  been  spread  all  over  the  house,  east,  west  north,  south,  outdoor  ponds,  at  different  points  of  time,
I  have  never  felt  any  difference,  but  then  I  also  do  not  believe  in  "vastu"  Smile  .
I  am  a  firm  believer  in  destiny  being  guided  by  myself,  whether  good  or  bad.
Please  note  these  are  my  personal  beliefs  and  I  fully  respect  right  of  other  people  to  believe  in  their  beliefs.  Thumb Up

Vaastu  science  says  even  if  your  fishes  are  dying  you  don't  have  to  worry,  evil  elements  are  leaving  your  home.
There  you  go  Vaastu!  Rolling Eyes

Vaastu  does  not  say  that  Yogesh,  Feng  Shui  does.

Vaastu  divides  your  property  into  4  zones  each  ruled  by  Vayu(wind),  jal  (water),  agni  (fire)  and  pruthvi  (earth).

So  you  have  your  drawing/guest  room  in  the  NW  (Vayu)  corner  -  Guests,  Children  and  people  who  have  to  move  away  will  do  so.

NE  (Jal)  -  Water  features  and  water  storage

 SE  (Agni)  -  Your  Kitchen

SW  (Earth)  -  The  man  of  the  house  should  have  his  room  here.

Sub  Rules  are  more  complicated...  and  then  it  is  all  about  faith.

The  only  way  Feng  Shui  or  Vaastu  affects  me  is  that  my  better  half  would  never  allow  me  to  have  a  tank  in  my  bedroom!
