Hi,  a  couple  of  answers  for  you  guys  about  the  UP  diffusor

1]  It  is  more  effective  than  the  glass  diffusors.  Not  only  does  it  dissolve  the  gas  in  the  water  but  spreads  microbubbles  of  CO2  in  the  water  which  is  even  more  effective  than  a  high  dissolved  CO2.

2]  Microbubbles  in  tank  look  may  not  be  to  your  liking

 3]  Decent  quality

4]  Quite  easy  to  clean.  I  just  dip  it  in  hydrogen  peroxide  for  a  few  hrs  once  in  a  couple  of  months

5]  Needs  a  lot  of  and  precise  fiddling  with  your  needle  valve  to  get  the  levels  right  or  you  will  gas  your  fish

6]  Regulator  needs  to  be  able  to  output  gas  at  a  pressure  of  atleast  1.7  bars  otherwise  it  wont  work

I  had  another  couple  of  points  but  I  cant  remember
Overall  it  is  a  good  buy  and  well  worth  the  cash

Thanks  a  lot  Mortis.  Exactly  these  are  the  points  I  was  looking  for.  Am  going  for  it  too.   Cheering

 Hi  all,
I  just  wanted  a  clarification,  I  suppose  what  mortis  was  referring  to  is  ceramic  CO2  diffuser(  (correct  me  if  it   is  not),  which  are  like  the  one  in  below  link  (http://www.greenleafaquariums.com/co2-diffusers/co2-diffuser-1000-nano.html).  But  what  Tirtha's  link  showed  is  one  which  need  to  be  connected  to  the  inlet  of  an  external  filter.  So   can  the  conclusion  of  the  discussion  be  that,  every  one  got  convinced  with  with  ceramic  diffuser?.  If  it  is  ceramic  diffuser  then  it  is  there  in  IPS  too.

 Thanks  Hamza,
The  use  of  "UP  diffuser  "  is  what  confused  me,  is  it  a  brand  name?  I  assumed  it  as  the  position  in  which  diffuser  faces  .
 with  best  regards,

i  got  my  UP  AQUA  from  ebay  ,  free  shipment  deal  delivered  yesterday  and  installed  it  with  the  2217  outlet
i  must  tell  u  this  is  a  great  buy
u  have  to  go  real  close  to  the  outlet  to  see  the  real  fine  mist  of  co2  being  thrown  into  the  water  column
totally  recommend  this  product  to  those  planning  to  buy  it
now  have  to  get  a  drop  checker  to  control  my  co2  PPM  levels
