Nice Rainbows..
Shape and color both are fantastic. What r u feeding them?
cause almost all rainbows have a very narrow esophagus and
cant eat large granules at once, and these are one of the smallest species.
Also I see around 8-10 rainbows approx, and all of them are male.
add 1 female per 2 males, and watch the show of rainbow dance,
as you have enough plants it will be interesting...

Nice rainbows Shelly.I have never managed to keep them in good health.Evertime they were with me, they used to get this fungal infection in their mouths.
Anyways, best of luck with them
Alternate days. Also some times I feed them dried blood worms...
How do I identify a female in dwarf rainbow neons? I will then hunt for females and give them a companion.
Hi Shelly ,
Refer Rasis photo which clearly shows the Female in front,
One little correction @ Rasi, Its not Deeper bodied rather its less deeper bodied than the males, and much less Blue-Violate shine than the males on scales, and dorsal/anal fins wont have or very little red/orange outline, and the tail should have light orange outlines.

Great looking rainbows Shelly. I see them in almost all LFS these days. But Boseman seems elusive. Not able to get them anywhere. And the ones that they say are Boseman appear dubious. They're perhaps juvenile and its hard to identify them as Boseman. Where do you get your stuff?
