Thanks  everyone.  I  have  some  ferns  on  there  now  but  I  havent  had  a  chance  to  take  pics  yet.  As  for  the  comment  on  rust,  I  have  a  padding  all  around  the  base  that  has  it  raised  half  way  so  it  is  sitting  on  that  right  now.  I  don't  think  it  will  rust  anytime  soon  plus  it  is  going  to  be  an  absolute  chore  at  this  point  to  try  and  slip  something  in  there.

I  like  the  Cardinal  Tetras  so  I  am  going  to  do  more  research  on  them.

White  Cloud  Mountain  Minnows  -  Excellent  fishes.  Seriously  under-rated,  but  look  very  pretty  in  a  group  and  very  hardy  too.

So  its  been  a  while  now  since  I  posted  here  but  I  have  been  letting  the  tank  mature.  I  did  add  some  plants  in  there  and  its  very  basic.  I  also  added  some  Cardinals,  Neon  Tetras  and  Ottos.  Picture  below.

Right  now  I  am  working  on  just  letting  the  plants  grow  out  some  more.  There  are  enough  fish  in  there  for  me  to  not  worry  too  much  about  them.  I  need  to  put  a  cover  on  the  back  but  the  more  I  look  at  it,  I  am  quite  happy  with  having  it  open  so  that  you  can  see  the  tubing.  Once  it  fills  out  a  bit  more,  I  am  going  to  possibly  try  my  hand  at  something  which  requires  a  bit  of  CO2  and  is  slightly  more  high  maintenance,  still  haven't  decided  what  I  want  but  I  am  researching  that  right  now.  I  did  think  about  trying  something  like  a  water  lily  form  at  the  top  but  I  ditched  the  idea  when  I  realized  I  might  have  to  raise  the  lighting  fixture  so  that  I  don't  end  up  over-exposing  the  plant  life  on  the  water  surface.
