 Hi

Can  any  one  please  suggest  where  I  can  purchase  Jebo  fans  set  in  Mumbai  for  my  3ft  l  2  ft  H  1.5  ft  W  fresh  water  tank.

I  saw  one  jebo  fan  set  on  indiapetstore  .  It  has  4  fans  combined  together  but  unfortunately  they  dont  have  it  in  stock  any  more.

 Regards

 Why  dont  you  DIY?
You  can  get  fans  at  any  hardware  store  or  a  stores  with  computer  spare  part(like  at  opera  house)?
Stick  them  all  together  and  you  are  done!

DIY  is  a  cheaper  option  to  go  for....  n  if  it  is  not  open  tank  and  the  fans  are  not  visible  then  DIY  rocks.....

You  will  get  standard  fav,  which  will  run  on  12  V  for  less  100,  2  of  those  fan  will  be  more  than  enough.  You  can  run  those  ran  on  12  v  adaptor,  which  you  will  get  again  for  less  or  you  might  already  have  it  lying  around  as  those  are  pretty  commonly  used  in  cordless  phones.
If  you  have  any  computer  market,  then  try  there,  you  will  get  the  2nd  CPU  fans  and  2nd  hand  SMPS  unit  for  dirty  cheap,  you  will  have  your  unit  ready  in  matter  of  mins.  If  you  see  this  link,  i  made  my  own  unit  of  2  smaller  fans  to  keep  my  Shrimp  pots  cooled  up.

I  simply  got  the  fans  for  XX  amt  and  used  old  sony  wall  mount  charger  of  mobile.  Very Happy

 Yes  Samir.

But  I  have  already  three  plugs  coming  out  of  my  aquarium  Smile  .  Two  for  lights  and  one  for  filter.  Apart  from  that  I  have  hooded  tank  so  bit  short  on  space.  Also  Jebo  fans  come  with  a  clip  which  can  easily  be  clipped  to  glass  and  maintain  an  angle.  I  dont  know  if  these  clips  are  available  seperately.

Do  you  have  any  method/Idea  to  connect  these  computer  fans  to  glass  walls.  I  guess  these  fans  should  be  connected  in  series

 Regards

 Sanjay

If  you  dont  have  electric  point...use  an  extension  board  ...duh!
Can  you  post  a  picture  so  we  can  get  better  idea  of  how  your  hood  is?
What  clips  are  you  talking  about....I  dont  get  it!
About  connecting  computer  fans,  you  can  just  cut  off  that  clip  at  the  end  and  insert  the  wire  in  point(I  have  never  tried  ...but  was  suggested  do)
About  sticking  fans  on  glass,  all  you  need  is  little  clay(with  what  children  make  animals  and  shapes   Chuckle  )...that  would  do  the  job

Clips  are  used  to  clamp  the  fan  on  tank  at  an  angular  position.

@  Deepak...Thanks  for  that  nice  pictorial  description...  I  can  easily  try  that  :)

@  Harpreet  ..  Checked  at  aquanature  ..  seems  bit  costly  @  2XXX  for  set  of  four!!!

Why  dont  you  attach  another  extention  board  on  what  you  have  now?
In  this  way  you  can  have  about  9  points  from  just  one  main  wall-mounted  electric  point

And  a  small  advise:  "Never  think  what  problems  might  come  across,  think  how  you  can  get  across  the  problems  without  breaking  you  head  for  an  small  issue"           Smile
