 The  FTS

one  oranda  developed  a  black  spot  on  its  redcap  or  brain  thingy  .
it  does  weird  things.(see  in  the  pic,  the  oranda  in  the  top)
It  floats  vertical,  with  head  down  and  tail  up  for  hours  together.  Surprised  maybe  its  doing  yoga!   ROFL   eats  and  moves  around  properly  later.anyone  know  why  my  oranda  is  doing  yoga?   Chuckle

 Hi

First,  remove  those  goldies  if  you  want  a  healthy  arogorn!

Second,  you  will  require  a  6'length  X  4'width  aquarium  soon.  Height  doesnt  matter  much  in  case  of  arowana.  hence  1.5'  of  2'  is  good  enough

Third,  Goldie  is  not  doing  yoga,  it  is  suffering  from  some  swim  bladder  infection

Its  not  doing  yoga.  Probably  swimbladder  related.  Another  one  is  on  the  substrate.  You  should  try  to  diagnose  whats  happening  with  your  fishes  rather  than  thinking  about  they  doing  yoga  or  having  some  rest.

And  that  tank  is  too  cramped  for  that  Arowana  (i.e  at  even  the  present  size)

When  I  will  have  a  plan  to  keep  Aros  or  Discuss  or  some  amazing  creature  I  would  definitely  read  or  try  to  communicate  with  experience  people  about  those  fishes...always  try  to  do  the  same...sorry  to  say  in  your  tank  all  the  fishes  are  in  real  stress,  thats  for  sure...enjoy  fish  keeping  and  all  the  best...

not  a  right  tank  to  keep  a  beautiful  monster  like  arrow  in  this  tank.....  upgrade  your  tank  if  you  plan  to  keep  this  arow

all  d  best  with  your  goldies  but  they  also  need  proper  care,  then  they  will  not  do  yoga  lol   ROFL   ROFL

 THanks  guys!

i  have  a  6ft  tank  ready  to  put  the  Aro  in,  but  the  Oscar(around  12  inches)  is  kinda  not  happy  with  the  arogorn  in  it!  :(

so  i  thought  i  could  put  the  aro  in  it  for  awhile,  till  he  grows  little  bigger.
Guess  i  gotta  find  a  new  home  for  it  soon.  :/

Get  a   2  or  3footer  for  the  guy.  Once  it  grows  out  a  bit,  you  can  move  it  into  the  6footer.
