I  don't  know  what  to  say  Sumit.  For  all  I  know,  they  both  might  be  male.  Can't  say  for  sure  but  that  just  might  be  the  case.  You  should  have  let  them  room  in  through  a  partition  and  wait  for  a  confirmation  on  the  sexing,  before  letting  them  hit  it.  You  need  to  be  vigilant  dude,  lest  you  might  lose  one.
I  must  however,  compliment  you  on  the  choice  of  fish  as  usual.     Rock On
Sorry  for  not  being  able  to  help  on  this  one  bro.  Dog     But  continuous  observation  or  rather  temporary  separation  seems  to  be  the  safer  way  out.
But  I  know  that  this  ain't  the  first  time  that  you've  done  this.  So  you  are  actually  the  expert  on  this.  I  choose  to  watch  and  learn  this  time.  I'm  gonna  watch  this  thread  closely  and  wait  to  read  what  the  masters  have  got  to  say  or  what  time  has  to  reveal  before  commenting  further............
May  fortune  favour  you.   Thumb Up

 Hi  Sumit,

Both  could  be  males,  but  the  other  fish  in  the  tank  may  eat  up  the  eggs  in  case  they  are  laid.  Best  to  keep  them  both  in  a  bare  bottom  tank  with  a  flat  stone  and  see  if  they  lay  eggs,  with  all  the  substrate  you  may  not  even  see  the  eggs.

i  guess  u  are  right  i  m  just  observing  them  they  are  showing  sings  of  courtship  like  dancing  shaking  body  so  i  may  remove  the  substrate  and  as  for  other  fish  they  are  there  to  divert  the  fhs  from  fighting  among  themselves  lets  what  happens

 Great  to  know  that.   Smile
If  the  big  red  fish  turns  out  to  be  a  female  I  must  say,  "THAT'S  ONE  FREAKING  HUGE  GIRL".  Probably  the  largest  and  most  koky  one  of  her  strain,  I  have  seen  so  far.  Her  offsprings  will  be  masterpieces  one  and  all.
All  the  best  bro.   Thumb Up

Congozzz  dude.....  Cheer  you  have  got  a  fh  pair.  Both  of  them  seems  healthy.  But  still  there  is  fertility  issue.  Like  if  your  male  isn't  matured  the  eggs  might  not  hatch.  And  if  the  red  one  is  a  matured  female  it  should  lay  eggs  once  in  a  month.  Keep  track  of  that.  I  had  a  female  blood  parrot  paired  up  with  a  fh.  I  had  a  lot  of  expectations  as  they  were  both  matured  and  healthy.  The  female  laid  eggs  every  month.  But  they  never  hatched.  Sad   Best  of  luck  with  your  pair  dude.....  Thumb Up

 Hi  Guys,

I've  got  my  FH's  together  for  almost  a  10  days  now.  But  there  is  not  much  activity  on  their  breeding......  Although  they  are  not  fighting  regularly  &  no  aggressive  movements.  What  could  be  the  reason?
 Please  suggest.....

hi  rohit  happy  to  hear  they  are  together  please  post  some  pic  of  them  together  and  ther  can  be  many  reasons  like  they  are  not  ready  yet  and  they  may  not  have  formed  the  bond  yet  or  they  could  both  be  females  or  males  or  the  water  parameters  may  not  be  right  for  them  to  breed  so  it  depends  just  be  patient  and  give  them  some  time  till  then  enjoy  there  beauty     Smile
