 Hi  Nandy

You  must  have  observed  Discus  discards  lot  of  poop  during  WC  process.  This  is  because  of  altered  water  chemistry  &  consequent  metabolic  activity.  If  you  make  an  immediate  WC  after  feeding,  food  may  not  be  properly  digested  &  pooped  out  without  offering  desired  nutrition  to  your  fish.  After  WC  due  to  increased  metabolism,  Discus  get  hungry  again  &  that's  the  best  time  to  feed  sparingly  to  your  discus.

However  for  most  office-goers  like  us,  generally  daily  WC  is  done  during  night  time.  So  the  feeding  regime  may  not  be  hard  &  fastly  be  followed.  You  can  have  your  last  feed  for  the  day,  make  WC  an  hour  after  so  that  discus  can  properly  digest  eaten  food  and  rest  in  a  clean  clear  water  overnight.

 Hi  Yogesh,

Read  the  thread.....  Its  all  in  there.  Thanks.
 I'm  planning  for  a  discus  tank.  I  have  1200  (L)  x  380  (W)  x  590  (H)......
Will  this  be  sufficient  for  keeping  10-12  Juviees?
The  aquarium  is  Chines  Make  &  has  in-bulit  filter  with  overhead  filter  compartments  for  Sponge  &  Activated  Carbon  &  Ceramic  rings.  Will  it  be  suitable?
