 Hi  members...

I  am  satish  from  Hyderabad...bettas  became  a  hobby  for  me  about  an  year  ago  and   I  have  successfully  bred  3  couples  so  far....
I  still  have  70  odd  baby  bettas  for  whom  i  am  looking  for  new  home  so  that  they  can  be  take  care  of...
they  were  babies  of  a  blue  body  red  tail  male  and  a  red  body  blue  tail  female...I  have  mixed  varieties  of  colors  and  most  of  them  are  crown  tails  males  and  females.
If  anyone  interested  do  let  me  know

I  am  planning  to  make  a  betta  setup.  I  have  two  2"-1"-1"  tanks  .How  many  fishes  I  can  keep  in  a  tank  of  the  above  dimension(including  the  number  of  partitions)?

None.  You  can't  keep  fish  in  a  2"x2"x1"  tank.  You  can  keep  fish  in  a  2'x2'x1'  tank.

Just  keep  them  alone  if  you  want  to  enjoy  there  beauty.  They  should  not  be  kept  in  community  tanks.

If  we  are  talking  about  Betta  Splendens,  I  have  successfully  kept  one  male  in  a  community  tank.

 Hi  Deepak,
It  was  many  years  ago  (I  am  an  old  dude).  I  had  a  small  school  of  corydoras  and  some  black  platys.  I  introduced  the  male  when  he  was  young  and  he  did  live  a  full  life  with  the  tank  mates.

 Dude  that's  cool.
Even  i  kept  a  betta   in  a  community  tank.  But  he  was  too  busy  attacking  others  and  tried  making  bubble  nest  in  one  corner  .  But  as  it  was  a  community  tank  he  couldn't   make  it  as  i  had  to  keep  airation  on.  And  most  of  all  I  missed  his  classic  betta  look.  You  know   what  i  mean.
After  some  time  he  was  just  sitting  at  the  bottom.  So  i  removed  him  and  kept  him  alone  .  In  a  planted  tank.  The  water  was  still  and  he  was  happy  guarding  his  home  .  And  i  was  happy  too  .  Watching  my  first  crown  tail  .

 @  Deepak
Keeping  them  with  other  fish  can  be  tricky  and  maybe  isn't  the  best.  Crowntails  are  beautiful  and  it's  nice  to  know  he  got  his  own  home.  I  currently  have  a  little  Blue  Dragon  who  is  happy  in  his  own  10  gallon.  He  moves  pretty  fast  sometimes  maybe  because  of  the  shorter  fins.  I  have  a  heater  in  his  tank  because  it  can  get  to  15C  in  my  house.  I  keep  the  tank  at  about  26C.
