Since  it  was  my  first  attempt  i  wanted  to  learn  by  my  mistakes.
Not  too  happy  with  the  silicone  and  will  be  redoing  it.
It  has  a  very  small  leak  in  the  front  left  corner  too.

Anyone  tried  this  and  wants  to  let  me  in  on  any  pointers?

I  hope  one  of  the  links  works.  Confused

One  photo  has  been  colour  enhanced  to  show  imperfections.

I  haven't  cleaned  the  tank  before  the  water  test.

There  is  a  unique  difference  in  this  tank  .
 Can  any  body  spot  it?

 Unique  difference  is  that
 1.  it  does  not  look  like  a  ADA  tank??   Chuckle
 2.  1/4th  of  it  is  resting  without  a  base?   Chuckle

just  kidding,  nice  try  btw  Thumb Up
What  is  the  brand  and  type  of  glass  used?  ADA  tanks  have  much  better  type  and  good  clarity  glass  i  guess

 Hey  Bando,

 Nice  effort.

Here  is  a  store  which  has  over  50  similar  tanks  ,  all  handmade  ,  all  ADA  and  no  one  can  tell  the  difference  between  any.

 Enjoy.

@  Nick993....  If  you  haven't  seen  an  ADA  tank  you  are  comparing  it  to  ....?
and  its  2  inches  off  the  base  because  it  has  a  pinhole  leak  as  mentioned.
The  clarity  and  quality  of  the  glass  is  at  par  with  ADA.

Since  it  was  my  first  attempt  with  silicone  application  it  has  imperfections  in  it...  practice  makes  perfect..  once  I'm  done  with  it  hope  to  be  comparable  on  that  point  too.

@  Dev  and  Adip...thanks  for  the  appreciation  of  the  effort.

@  Shelly  yes  it  is  extra  clear  float  glass.

But  the  unique  difference  is  still  to  be  identified.

CLUE:  check  the  middle  picture  in  the  set  on  flicker.
 Its  something  superior  to  ADA.

@  crazzyarchh...  I  did  use  that  method  ....  added  picture  to  set.

Application  of  silicone  will  improve  in  an  another  try  or  two.

Come  on  people  try  your  luck  at  pointing  out  something  thats  not  there  in  other  tanks,  at  least  i  haven't  seen  it  on  other  tanks.

2nd  Clue:  Its  made  of  8mm  glass
