 THE  RESULT..  Enjoy  reading  the  journey.

 =========================================================================================

 After  spending  nearly  2  years  without  a  proper  planted  tank  I  decided  to  replace  my  old  5ft  tank  with  a  new  one,  slightly  broader.

 Decided  to  use  a  black  silicone  and  thanks  to  masking  tape  they  really  helped  me  in  proper  clean  sealing.

 I  went  in  for  several  drills  for  my  plumbing  works.  Have  seen  a  lot  of  international  tanks  and  their  plumbings  really  challenges  me.  So  thought  why  not  give  it  a  shot  and  the  result  is  below   Smile

 Now  comes  the  dosing.  Since  my  last  single  syringe  doser.
 http://indianaquariumhobbyist.com/community/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=25929

 This  time  I  decided  to  make  something  that  would  accommodate  both  my  macro  and  micro,  so  went  on  making  this

 The  tank  on  stand  after  giving  15  days  of  drying  time.

 Now  comes  the  light.  For  lighting  I  decided  to  go  on  with  6  numbers  of  T5HO  which  was  giving  me  a  rough  calculation  of  3.2  watts  per  gallon.

 And  finally  this  is  my  final  work.

 With  the  light  on.

 The  final  work  of  plants  is  still  pending  which  hopefully  I  should  be  able  to  complete  by  next  weekend.  Will  keep  on  updating  as  I  progress.  Hope  you  guys  enjoy   Smile

 Its  a  good  project,  but  those  side  glasses  with  pipes  looks  odd.  Looking  directly  as  a  spectator,  the  tank  seems  short  in  height.  Which  fishes  are  you  planning  in  this  tank?

 Yupp  very  true  infact  I  am  working  on  this,  preferably  a  side  cabinet  on  both  the  sides  is  in  the  plan  which  will  coverup  the  pipe  as  well  help  me  in  keeping  the  fishy  books.  I  have  kept  the  tank  height  less  mainly  to  avoid  braces  and  increasing  the  height  will  cost  me  more  lights  too.  I  am  only  planning  for  a  large  school  of  Cardinals  and  red  cherry  shrimps.
