 One  doubt.......   Rolling Eyes

The  bottom  cap  and  the  top  threaded  caps  are  sealed  with  either  silicon  or  m-seal...
How  to  go  while  cleaning  the  filter  periodically...

Can  you  put  some  light  on  this.....

Yes  ajha  the  water  enters  the  filter  from  the  bottom  and  goes  through  the  filter  media  and  out  of  the  pump  into  the  tank.  U  need  to  put  the  filter  media  inside  the  filter.
And  vinod  sorry  i  said  to  seal  the  threaded  cap  by  that  i  meant  the  adaptor  of  the  threaded  cap.  So  for  cleaning  u  just  need  to  open  the  threaded  cap.

Clownfish  i  would  recomend  u  to  go  for  1000lph  pump  if  your  tank  height  is  2ft  or  above.

increased  hight  position  will  not  make  much  of  difference  in  my  opinion  as  the  syphon  will  be  at  lower  pressure  unless  your  tank  is  higher  than  a  meter

I  agree  with  emmanual.  The  height  will  only  lower  the  pressure  of  your  syphon.  And  clownfish  can  u  provide  us  with  your  tank  specs.

 @  imrandayatar

From  where  to  get  that  type  of  threded  end  cap  with  its  MT(adapter/coupling)  in  Mumbai  or  thane.
I  am  trying  to  make  one  for  my  planted  tank.
I  could  source  other  things  but  could  not  find  the  threaded  end  cap  for  upper  portion.

this  is  nice  stuff  and  i  will  try  to  make  it
one  question  about  the  inlet  hole  to  the  pipe

is  that  hole  done  on  both  the  end  cap  and  the  4inch  pipe  or  only  on  end  cap?
