 Hi  mullaji,

Try  to  keep  some  sort  of  Soil  in  the  tank,  they  love  to  be  burried  inside  the  soil  for  long  time,  Dont  keep  your  tank  as  bare  bottom,  that  could  be  one  of  the  reasons  for  coming  out  of  the  tank.

My  Assasins  Snails  get  burried  for  long  time  in  my  ADA  soil,  there  are  instance  where  I  see  them  after  some  weeks.

mulla  the  question  is  how  densly  planted  is  your  tank.is  it  a  forest.  Or  very  less  plants.  The  question  is  to  know  if  there  are  enough  plants  to  consume  the  co2  you  give.

snails  climb  up  often  due  to  lack  of  oxygen  in  the  water
you  need  to  look  at  a  your  water  circulation

How  many  snails  do  you  have?

if  you  have  just  one  and  it  is  coming  to  the  top  then  i  can't  say  why.

I  have  5  of  them  and  right  now  i  see  1  at  top  and  the  others  are  at  the  bottom  (can  see  3  of  them  in  the  bottom  as  i  type).  so  if  the  oxygen  is  less  then  all  should  be  on  top.

the  snail  on  top  can  also  be  a  wanderer  Smile

If  it  is  lack  of  oxygen  that  is  killing  your  assasin  snails  then  all  your  fish  would  have  died  long  back.

Seniors  Please  help  this  seems  to  be  an  issue  that  may  occur  to  any  of  us

Jabba  -  You  are  right,  Assasin  Snails  in  my  tank  come  up  when  there  is  lack  of  oxygen  in  my  tank  otherwise  they  tend  to  be  enjoying  the  ADA  soil  bath.   Smile.

Once  I  had  increased  the  Co2  levels  to  cut  down  the  Green  Hair  Algae  and  watched  that  all  the  Snails  where  on  the  Surface  of  water  level  in  the  tank.  I  think  it  is  mainly  due  to  lack  of  oxygen  levels  in  your  tank.
