Recently I happened to saw something called VFL lights @ my LFS.
Personally speaking, it looks amazing. I wanted to know what kind of lights they are? fish look amazing in those lights...

Hi Sandy,
I think those are Violet Fusion Red lights.
I too tried to research on them... looks like they are used in Arowana tanks or tanks where red color of fish need to be highlighted.
But I could not get any information which suggests that it is good for planted tanks. |

I will ask my LFS again & confirm whether I made a mistake when I said the name of these light as 'VFL'.
I heard this for the first time as well & it looks like these lights are imported and are definately costly, I don't know as of now how much does they cost.
But when I looked the tank where these lights are installed, the look of the tank and colours of these fish are simply mind blowing..

Ok.Great.so they are called VFR's.
Appologies for naming them as VFL's 
and thanks for the link...Do you know which one to choose typically for a tank of size 24" * 12 * 15*
I guess somewhere between 18-25W should be good right?
