What  is  a  snow  white  gourami  ?

 Hi  Friend
There  are  81  species  of  gouramis  in  aquarium  trade.
Among  them  there  are  various  color  variants.  Albino  is  simply  lack  of  colouring  pigment  in  a  fish.  Anyone  of  these  81  varieties  can  be  a  "albino  gourami".
They  are  a  very  diverse  group  from  2ft  giant  gouramis  to  drawf  varities.
Try  &  get  a  photo  of  the  fish.
They  do  not  have  any  special  requirements,  tankmate  should  not  be  very  boisterous.  They  like  gentle  flow  of  water,  need  to  breathe  from  air  and  are  also  called  "labyrinth  breathers".  Mine  eat  whatever  I  can  feed  them.
I  have  golden  gourami,  pearl  gourami,  tristar  gourami  with  livebearers.
 They  do  well  with  plants

gaint  goriums  are  also  white  in  color  with  red  or  black  eyes

they  will  reach  a  max  size  of  2  ft.....

i  have  seen  one  of  these  kind  in  my  friends  house  first  when  is  saw  it  a  few  monthes  back  it  was  a  6  inch  fish  but  now  it  is  in  a  huge  size  (more  the  1  ft)........

any  way  i  have  very  little  knowledge  about  the  varities  of  goriums

Recently  i  saw  an  Albino  giant  Gourami  about  8"  at  local  LFS,  it  was  off-white  with  shining  pearly  scales  nice  to  keep  if  you  have  a  huge  tank  or  pond.

I've  seen  many  a  time  people  refering  Moonlight  as  Snow  White.    But  his  description  doesn't  suits  to  Moonlight.  A  PIC  is  badly  required  here.
