Looks  like  your  Cirrhinus?  is  just  back  from  Ramlila  Maidan.
BTW,  this  is  the  fish  in  your  Tor  tank,  right  Nayak?

Yes,  this  was  in  the  Tor  tank.  A  extremely  shy  fish  was  being  starved  by  those  boisterous  rowdies.  Luckily  I  saw  it  last  week  and  move  it  to  it's  own  2  footer.  Now  recovering  by  nibbling  on  NLS,  Tetra  Bits,  Scampi  feed  and  choice  hair  algae.  Here  are  a  couple  of  old  pic's.

This  is  not  C.  reba.  This  is  C.  fulungee,  which  is  the  only  other  fish  in  that  Genus  with  8  branched  dorsal  rays.

Nayak,  I  am  very  interested  in  the  fish  on  the  top  right  corner  of  the  last  but  one  picture.  A  few  more  shots  pleeeese   Very Happy

Yeah,  I  remember  id'ying  it  as  P.  mahecola,  but  something  about  its  shape  makes  me  feel  it  could  be  a  large  barb.

My  god!!!  I  thought  the  one  you  are  referring  to,  is  also  same  as  what  the  one  in  front  Chuckle  .
Marc  and  Nayak  sir  are  you  guys  really  human  or  have  turned  into  a  fish  Chuckle   .
Some  times  when  I  see  the  posts  from  you  guys  I  fell  like  reading  a  science  project   Clapping   Clapping   Clapping   Clapping.
I  really  can't  imagine  keeping  all  those  names  in  mind   Bow   Bow   Bow
