 I  have  few  questions
 1)  how  to  check  whether  filter  flow  is  high  or  low  suitable  for  plants
 2)  Tried  planting  plants  with  twiser  but  faced  some  difficulty  their  any  IAH  tricks  and  tips  for  planting
 3)  I  have  seen  tropica  site  where  they  had  shown  trimming  of  root  &  plants  before  planting  is  it  necessary
 4)  you  can  see  in  above  pic  that  driftwood  is  floating  .  Earlier  it  was  sinking,  to  make  it  clean  I  dried  it  completely.  May  be  their  is  no  water  content  in  wood  that's  why  it  is  floating  ?

 Hi  Vicky,

 1)  how  to  check  whether  filter  flow  is  high  or  low  suitable  for  plants
 a)  If  your  filter  came  with  a  sprybar,  use  it  and  don't  worry  about  the  floe..  the  filter  flow  is  good  enough  for  the  tank.

 2)  Tried  planting  plants  with  twiser  but  faced  some  difficulty  their  any  IAH  tricks  and  tips  for  planting.
 a)  Tweezers  should  work  fine,  just  add  some  more  sand  at  the  base  of  the  planted  ones  till  they  get  rooted.

 3)  I  have  seen  tropica  site  where  they  had  shown  trimming  of  root  &  plants  before  planting  is  it  necessary.
 a)  Yes  trimming  it  will  help  while  planting,  any  way  the  old  roots  will  rot  and  the  plants  will  develop  new  ones.

 4)  you  can  see  in  above  pic  that  driftwood  is  floating  .  Earlier  it  was  sinking,  to  make  it  clean  I  dried  it  completely.  May  be  their  is  no  water  content  in  wood  that's  why  it  is  floating  ?
 a)  You  should  not  have  dried  it,  well  tie  it  up  with  the  rocks  and  eventually  it  will  get  drowned..

If  your  plants  started  uprooting  due  to  flow,  simply  your  flow  is  more  for  that  position

Try  to  put  the  plant  in  an  angular  way  rather  than  simply  put  them  straight  inside  the  substrate,  it  will  help  plants  to  stuck  inside  the  substrate.

Any  rotten  portion  need  to  be  removed  before  plantation,  actually  when  you  get  plants  in  courier,  plants  may  rot  in  some  portions  so  you  need  to  remove  that  port.

You  put  the  wood  at  the  position  and  put  a  heavy  rock  on  it,  after  few  days  it  will  be  fine.

that  wood  is  not  cured  properly  I  think.  If  it  starts  releasing  tanins,  do  not  put  the  plants.  wait  till  the  wood  settles  perfectly  or  else  boil  it  2  or  3  times  and  then  put  it  back.

On  Saturday  night  I  have  competed  my  planting.  It  was  great  experience  especially  while  planting  dwarf  grass.  It  took  three  hours  from  emptying  tank  to  filling  up  water  after  planting.  Water  was  not  cloudy  as  it  was  expected.  Now  hoping  to  grow  plants  fast.

This  pic  is  just  after  planting  done  and  before  adding  water

My  plants  under  GHUNGAT.  After  some  time  you  will  see  mu  dikhai.

News  paper  used  to  diffuse  flow  to  avoid  disturbance  in  substrate  and  plants  and  I  am  happy  with  results.  No  casualty  like  uprooting  and  heavy  clouds.  Thank  you  Oliver
