it's  not  an  iwagumi  in  true  sense  to  be  honest  with  you.  IMO  the  hardscape  used  out  here  is  way  too  small  for  the  tank  size  plus  the  plants  as  used  out  here  will  overpower  your  hardscape  very  soon.  IMO  get  bigger  rocks  asap,  other  than  that  it's  a  good  start  atleast  from  the  planting  perspective.  sorry  for  being  a  full  -  frontal  critique.

Nicely  done.  Should  turn  into  a  nice  scape  when  it  matures.  Foreground  is  entirely  made  of  styrogyne  sp.?  Do  update  the  plant  list  and  other  technical  stuff.
Find  a  nice  shady  spot  for  the  anubias,  to  prevent  algae.  Good  luck  with  this  scape.  Thumb Up

 Good  start,

You  may  have  to  trim  your  plants  more  often  to  keep  your  stones  visible.

Just  wondering,  you  have  added  your  fish  from  day  1  (  i  mean  without  cycling),  Hope  they  will  all  survive.

 Good  Luck

 Good  start  Abhishek,
But  remember,  In  Iwagumi  emphasis  is  mainly  on  the  rock.  And  use  of  any  two  species  of  plants,  one  for  carpeting  and  other  for  background  near  the  rocks..
your  rocks  are  way  too  small  for  the  set  up,  so  the  rocks  will  be  overpowered  by  the  plants.  try  and  add  bigger  rocks..
And  the  big  rock  placement  on  the  left  is  a  bit  awkward,  see  what  you  can  do  about  it..

 Thank  You  all.

True  the  rocks  are  small  for  the  scape,  unfortunately,  this  was  all  I  could  get  here  :(

Also,  the  idea  was  to  bring  down  the  maintainence  frequency,  which  is  why  I  did  not  use,  cuba  or  any  other  plant  for  that  matter.

I  will  try  to  play  around  with  the  scape  and  see  what  I  can  do.

 Nice  try  abishekh.

I  am  new  to  the  planted  tanks  as  well.  While  searching  for  iwagumi  setups  i  encountered  a  link  which  might  be  useful  on  rock  placements  http://www.leonardosreef.com/2012/06/guide-to-iwagumi/.

All  the  best  Abhishek  ...  THe  tank  looks  really  neat.  IMO  wait  till  your  plants  fill  in  ...  You  should  get  a  better  tdea  of  what  to  keep  and  what  to  remove.

Looks  good,  and  have  to  agree  with  Nidhi  and  Zico...  Rocks  should  have  been  bigger..  however,  in  the  end  what  matters  is  if  you  like  how  it  looks.  Love  the  look  of  the  tank  currently  and  cant  wait  to  see  how  the  whole  thing  shapes  up  in  the  coming  months!

Give  more  details  about  the  tank,  substrate  used,  any  additives,  filtration  ,  planting..  etc  Smile  they  are  all  fun  to  read!

Here  is  an  update  on  the  plants.

Did  not  do  many  changes,  just  moved  the  snubias  to  the  back.

Tried  to  play  along  with  the  rocks,  but  did  not  look  right  so  left  them  as  is.

Iwagumi  or  not,  I  still  like  it  .  The  foreground  could  always  be  trimmed  to  prevent  the  rocks  from  being  covered  up.  The  stems  at  the  middle  'ludwigia  glandulosa',  if  i  guessed  it  right,  could  be  placed  away  from  the  rocks,  maybe  at  the  right  hand  corner  where  the  anubias  and  kept  in  shape  with  pruning.  Just  avoid  tall  stem  plants  around  the  rocks.
