Welcome  Abhay  to  the  wonderful  world  of  Fishkeeping.  So  good  to  see  more  and  more  hobbyists  joining  IAH.  Here  you  are  sure  to  get  the  most  and  the  best  information  from  many  of  our  fishkeeping  experts.
Good  start  on  your  new  aquarium.  But  i  would  suggest  fishes  such  as  shark  and  koi  are  really  not  meant  for  aquariums.  There  are  many  other  varieties  to  try  from.  You'll  know  about  this  in  the  long  run  like  I  have.

 Regards,
 Vishnu

 Welcome  Sir   Smile
 About  your  fish  choices.

shark  and  koi  are  fishes  that  have  potential  to  grow  big  for  your  tank.
Koi  will  make  the  water  dirty  quickly  so  the  maintenance  will  be  high.
I  would  suggest  you  to  still  keep  the  shark  and  exchange  it  to  the  shop  when  they  become  big  for  your   tank.  If  you  want  to  keep  Koi  be  ready  to  clean  the  tank  often. The  same  will  be  the  case  if  you  keep  gold  fish  also.
Life  will  be  really  easy  for  you  if  you  keep  20  small  fishes  for  the  tank.
Small  fishes  in  the  sense  small  tetras, guppys  and  all

 Hi  Abbi,

Welcome  to  IAH  .   Welcome   Welcome   Welcome

 Regarding  the  fishes  :

 +1  jabba

I  will  suggest  that  better  try  with  small  fishes.  As  the  maintenance  will  be  very  low  and  once  you  will  be  comfortable/get  sufficient  knowledge   ,  then  go  for  fishes  you  want  to  keep.  I  was  having  koi,  Shark  ,  Oscar,  cat  fish  together  and  in  a  big  tank  48x24x30  size.  But  as  they  grow  big  ,  maintenance  will  be  more  .  Hope  this  will  help  you  .

As  suggested  by   josyjames  ,  please  update  your  location  ,  so  people  near  by  your  place  can  help  you  too.

last  but  not  least  :  Welcome  to  the  world  of  Aquarium/fish  keeping   Smile

 Wekcome  Abbi,
wekcome  to  fishy  world.  My  advice  for  you  fotget  shark  and  koi.  They  are  pond  fish.  Theyare  not  for  aquariums.  Red  taul  sharks  are  still  ok.  They  don't  grow  much.
