 Hi,
Has  any  one  used  CO2  suppliments.  Like  the  CO2  TABLETS  for  plant  from  PRODAC,  Follwoing  is  the  link  of  it,
 http://www.prodacinternational.it/english/index.php?link=9

Bought  it  from  LFS.  Just  wanted  to  know  the  results  of  these.  Also  have  heard  about  TetraPlant  CO2  -Optimat,

Can  any  one  who  have  used  them  let  me  know  the  results  of  these  as  compared  to  CO2  cylinder.

Very  Expensive  in  the  long  run,  also  availability  is  a  problem.  These  are  new  products  which  no  one  I  know  has  tried  out.

 Hi  Madanji  and  others,
Not  sure  about  the  re-filling  cost  of  a  CO2  setup  in  local  and  the  pricing  of  the  entire  setup  cause  i  do  not  have  one,  The  CO2  suppliment  that  i  am  currently  planning  to  use  comes  at  an  avg  price  of  6$  for  20  TABS,  Which  should  last  for  12  Weeks  (3  months)  as  per  the  user  manual  for  my  4'  planted  setup.

The  reason  i  am  looking  at  this  alternative  is  the  space  constraint  and  the  threat  due  to  my  naughty  kid  on  CO2  cylinder.

Having  said  that  if  the  end  result  is  not  the  same  as  compared  to  the  cylinder  setup  or  if  the  availability  of  tabs  on  time  is  an  issue  then  its  worthless  using  this  and  will  then  have  to  figure  the  method  to  handle  the  traditional  method  of  CO2  cylinders.

LFS  guy  promised  me  to  get  them  within  a  weeks  time  of  ordering.  Also  not  sure  if  we  can  get  them  in  bulk  from  Tetra  dealers  locally  in  bangalore  here.

But  this  could  also  be  an  alternativite  when  our  CO2  cylinders  are  empty.

Will  keep  you  also    posted  on  this  about  the  results  of  using  these.

 Regards
 Raghu

 Hi  all,
Its  been  around  a  week  and  a  half  that  i  have  strated  adding  these  suppliments  of  CO2  and  peat  plates.  I  was  closely  observing  my  Java  fern  and  lily  plants,  They  are  just  growing  mad.    I  believe  these  are  doing  the  trick.  I  could  see  new  leaves  on  these  grown  today.  Also  on  the  anuboi's  (Sorry  if  spelt  wrong).

I  dose  2  tabs  for  my  ~60G  tank  each  week.

Peat  plates  costed  me  around  250  Rs/-,  I  just  had  them  put  underneath  the  gravel,  Have  3  inches  of  gravel  and  these  plates  are  at  1  inch  level.

 Hi  !
Please  post  the  name  and  contact  details  of  the  LFS  selling    Co2  tablets,  it  is  surely  an  uncombersome  method  of  supplying  the  required  Co2  to  the  plants,  very  convenient  indeed......

 Madan,
The  CO2  cylinders  are  not  just  cumbersome  but  the  problem  is  also  with  the  brass  valves  and  controls.  They  cost  a  fortune.  So  I  think  tablets  might  be  less  of  a  headache.
Anybody  in  Mumbai  has  access  to  these  tablets?  Would  like  to  know  and  buy  some.  Maybe  if  we  did  bulk  buying  we'll  manage  to  keep  the  supply  consistent.

The  initial  cost  of  a  pressurised  CO2  system,  and  the  delivery  of  CO2  to  water  efficiently  costs  a  bit  many  people,  think  twice  about  going  in  for  the  same.

The  CO2  tablets  would  be  a  good  idea  if  they  work  well.  We  need  to  wait  a  few  months  for  people  who  use  them  to  post  results.

 Hi  All:

 I've  used  AZOO's  CO2  Pellets...

I  use  it  when  my  CO2  cylinder  goes  for  a  refill...(It  takes  about  a  week's  time;  for  me  here;  with  an  arrangement  from  Hindustan  Fire  Fighting  Systems)...Hence,  it's  during  these  times  that  I  dose  the  pellets...

They  do  a  good  job,  but  cost's  a  bomb!!

 They're  available  at  Matsyavatar...
An  other  form  of  CO2;  in  liquid  media,  is  available  at  the  ASK  Sales  counter...(I've  not  used  it  though)...

 Dosing  as  per  instructions...
 Bye,
