 rajdanair,

I  am  wondering  how  you  used  this  to  cut  the  rest  of  the  pvc  tube?   There's  no  handle  whatsoever  to  fasten  the  blade.   Must  be  really  difficult.   Care  to  share  the  technique,  please?

I  intend  to  make  3  pieces  of  similar  DIY  PVC  lighting  hood  of  4  feet  in  length.

 Hi  Matnoh.
With  the  Hacksaw  frame  I  cut  upto  8"  both  the  sides  and  after  that  without  frame,  only  with  new  hacksaw  blade.   I  cut.   I  have  brokened  one  new  hacksaw  blade.  Basically,  I  am  interested  to  do  all  the  small  type  of  electrical,  plumbing,  carpenter  work.   Hence,  there  is  no  problem.   The  Teak  wood  was  very  old  and  so  hard,  which  I  have  made  it  cut  by  the  wood  work  workshop.
 Hi,  harshnsweet,  Thank  You.
 regards
 radjanair

Thank  you  so  much  for  the  tips.  At  least  there's  some   way  out   to  do  the  cutting.  Gotta  buy  extra  blades  then.
