Deepakg  tell  me  how  to  search  for  the  worms....  I  have  a  whole  1  acre  of  banana  trees  in  my  plot.
Also  You  can  see  lot  of  them  in  outer  of  any  Indian  cities  I  suppose.....  It  will  be  criminal  for  us  indians  to  import  them  from  US!!!!!!!!!

 Jabs
Where  were  you  bro  since  the  topic  started.
It  is  said  that  the  worms  live  in  the  roots  of  banana  plants
 Check  this  link
 http://www.worm-cultures.com/bananaworminformation.htm

Thinking  of  adding  banana  roots  to  the  mish  mash  of  bananas  and  oatmeal  and  get  the  worms  ???   Thumb Up

Yes  deepak  banana  worms  are  very  smaller  that  is  why  i  need  them   Smile      I  am  thinking  of  getting  banana  worms  and  micro  worms  also  from  him  atleast  then  we  will  know  the  difference.

The  way  he  put  it  is  micro  worms  are  easy  to  see  on  the  container  whereas  banana  worms  are  far  difficult  to  see  unless  they  colonize  in  a  place.  Deepak  are  u  certain  the  worms  u  generously  gave  everybody  are  not  banana  worms  because  they  are  quite  small  to  see  unless  u  stian  your  eyes.

beer  worms  are  also  too  big  during  the  initial  stage.  had  seen  them  at  uncle  issac  place.  The  fry  in  the  beginning  stay  at  the  bottom  most  of  the  time  after  the  yolk  sack  has  been  absorbed.  Infosuria  was  my  option  but  the  thing  stinks  like  crazy  and  expedites  polluting  the  water  itself.  Micro  worms  when  used  after  14  days  stay  alive  in  the  water  for  easily  12  hrs  however  prior  to  using  micro  worms  i  am  looking  for  something  like  banana  worms  which  does  not  stink,  can  be  cultured  easily  and  stays  alive  for  a  good  amount  of  time.

Brine  Shrimp.  They  are  slightly  big  as  a  newly  hatches  guppy  fry.  Few  of  them  are  beginning  to  get  the  blue  colour.

Hah!   They  are  now  big  enough.  Good  work.  How  many?  Also  remember  to  add  snails  as  they  produce  infusuria.
