It  took  me  more  than  a  month  to  get  the  correct  id  of  this  shrimp!  i  then  soon  got  the  e-mail  address  of  Robert  Angyalosi  of  Germany.  he  had  discovered  a  new  set  of  red  cherry  shrimps  in  2011.  the  Royal  Blood  Shrimp.  it  is  a  purple  variant  which  is  selectively  bred  after  three  generations!  They  are  deep  dark  red  Sakuras  in  adulthood.  Robert,  ID'd  mine  for  me  and  told  me  that  it  was  an  RBS.

mine  sadly  was  not  breeding  at  first,  had  2  miscarriages  but  successfully  few  days  back  she  gave  birth  to  a  dozen  babies,  which  i  would  love  to  give  to  breeders  once  they  grow  up.  i'm  still  awaiting  a  reply  from  Robert  for  some  pointers  about  them.  will  keep  you  guys  updated.

here  is  a  picture  of  her:

it's  not  very  clear,  i'll  post  a  proper  picture  of  it  soon!

Robert  also  told  me  that  this  could  have  happened  through  co-incedence,  so  there  are  chances  of  other  RBS  around!  hope  i  find  few  more  which  will  help  me  breed  these  guys.

 UPDATE:
i  now  have  7  RBS  shrimplets  which  i  have  promised  to  give  to  2  breeders  so  i  can  spread  this!
also  Robert  told  me  what  food  i  have  to  give  it  and  i  got  a  minor  heart  attack  after  looking  at  the  prices  of  the  food,  so  i'm  just  going  to  continue  with  the  same  menu.  well  here's  a  pic  of  her.  will  put  the  pics  of  the  shrimplets.

A  purple  variant.  The  shrimplets  will  hopefully  have  a  darker  shade.
