In  fact  you  can  now  shift  all  the  males  to  planted  tank  and  if  you  are  going  to  do  any  breeding  select  te  best  looking  male  and  keep  it  with  the  female  rest  can  keep  going  to  the  planted  tank  can  be  easily  sexed  once  they  start  to  show  the  dark  band  on  the  side.

 Hi  guys,

Yesterday  after  comming  back  from  office,  I  seperate  2  male  Endler's  to  my  Planted  one  and
kept  the  best  one  with  the  female.

But  at  night  arround  10  PM  when  I  check  the  tank,  I  have  seen  the  male  was  missing.  After
longtime  search  along  with  my  wife  I  see  him  dead  in  the  backside  of  the  cabinet.

Can  you  tell  me  why  it's  happen  !!  Guppy  I  am  100%  sure  not  a  jumper...also  in  that  room  no  disturbance  at  all.  So  what  can  be  a  reason  !!

 Abhis9,

Always  cover  your  tanks.  Guppy's  or  Endlers  will  definitely  jump.
They  are  the  top  dwellers  in  any  Aquarium.

Coming  to  the  point,  Your  Endler  jumped  because  he  was  he  was  unsettled  with  all  the  disturbances  around  him.  The  disturbances  caused  when  you  were  catching  the  other  two  males.

 Sorry  for  your  loss,

 Regards,

Abhida  they  tend  to  jump  if  they  find  changes  in  their  environment.  At  the  time  when  Endlers  were  introduced  in  my  tank  for  couple  of  days  they  were  few  who  jumped  out,  this  changed  after  2-3  days  when  they  were  relaxed.  Now  since  a  month  no  dead  fish  on  the  floor.
