@  deepak  da  :  will  post  better  pics,  pls  confirm  if  he  is  a  rosetail..  also,  what  is  the  difference  between  rosetail  and  feather  tail  ??  many  international  forums  use  this  new  "feather  tail"  term  for  a  OHM  with  lesser  dead  branches.

 @  Satya,Vinod:  Thanks  Smile

 Ashish.
both  are  end  of  extreme  finnage.  Many  breeder  avoids  breeding  two  rose  or  two  feathertails  to  avoid  undesirable  specimens.  They  rather  kull  or  they  will  never  use  them  for  breeding.
Their  is  a  slight  difference  between  the  two  finnage.  ..  overlaps  and  frills.
 but  both  are  extreme  mutants.
Yours  is  a  rosetail....  very  fine  specimen.

 Oops  double  post...
 one  more  info.
He  seems  of  8  month  of  age.   Quickly  breed  him  with  Hm  female  (  not  a  rose).
And  post  pictures.  You  have  two  months  to  get  a  perfect  and  healthy  spawn.

Agree  with  Deepak.  These  rosetails  are  very  difficult  fish  to  take  care  of  as  they  grow  older,  since  their  finnage  is  too  heavy  for  them  to  maintain!
 Case  in  Point

The  same  guy  in  a  few  days

@  Deepak  Da::  I  do  not  agree  with  the  age  of  this  guy..  he  is  not  8  months  old  for  sure..  Boutgh  him  2  weeks  back  and  that  time  he  was  a  juvie,  probably  3  months  max..  will  post  a  FTS  to  give  the  idea  of  his  size.

@  Satya  ::  Turquoise  is  gives  2  shades,  Blue  and  green.  Color  is  defined  on  the  basis  of  light  relection  angle..  To  confirm,  see  the  second  pic  on  my  first  post..  See  the  reflection  on  top  is  green  and  in  the  pic  is  blue  body

@  Alpha91  :  Agree  with  the  maintainance  part..  I  think  water  changes  and  good  space  is  all  that  is  required,  I  do  50%  water  change  every  3  days  and  I  have  seen  the  difference  in  growth, finnage

@all  ::  One  question,  logically,  would  it  not  be  a  better  option  to  breed  him  with  a  rosetail  female,  to  get  a  higher  percentage  of  halfmoons  overall?
