Lighting  unit  provided  by  ADA  are  LED  based.  Are  these  LED  units  are  good  for  growing  aquatic  plants?  I  read  LED  is  not  much  effective  over  T5  lighting.

Lighting  for  a  planted  tank  is  a  matter  of  quantity  and  the  right  balance  in  spectrum..
For  example:  lets  say  your  tank  needs  2850  lumens  of  light  in  5200k  to  8000k  spectrum,  there  are  many  sources  for  it  like  LED,  T5,  PLL,  CFL  etc..
But  CFL  uses  45w  to  produce  this  required  light,  where  as  T5  HO  uses  only  39  watts  to  produce  the  same  light..  and  high  quality  power  LEDs  needs  only  30w  to  produce  the  same..
But  eventually  all  these  sources  are  good  for  plant  growth..  just  use  the  right  amount  of  light.
Coming  to  ADA  LED..  they  use  1/2  watt  LED,  whose  efficiency  is  comparable  with  the  efficiency  of  CFL  bulbs.  and  they  have  designed  it  as  per  their  tank  sizes.
So  they  are  good  in  terms  of  growing  aquatic  plants,  if  used  as  per  their  recommendations.
Then,  there  is  the  style  quote..  these  are  best  aesthetically  pleasing  lighting  system  you  will  ever  get..for  a  price,  that  is  Smile

Any  idea  how  much  ADA  charge  for  3  feet  long  tank  (90cm*15cm*15cm  approx.)?  I  read  somewhere  10000K  and  good  reflection  are  criteria  for  healthy  plant  growth.

People  have  grown  plants  from  all  sorts  of  kelvin  ratings  starting  from  5,000k  to  10,000k..  But  6500k  to  8000k  is  the  balance  where  your  planted  tank  looks  natural  plus  you  get  to  grow  the  plants  as  well..
Good  reflector  are  always  the  main  criteria,  we  don't  have  to  mention  it..  A  bulb  throws  out  light  in  all  direction,  reflectors  will  reflect  the  light  going  in  wrong  direction  back  into  the  tank..  where  it  is  needed  primarily.
People  have  already  hinted  on  the  cost  of  these  ADA  LED  lighting..
Just  go  through  the  link  Shelly  has  provided  for  more  clarification..

Had  been  to  the  ADA  center  in  Bangalore  (NALC)  this  week  and  saw  the  lights  in  person.  IIRC,  the  LEDs  cost  about  16k  for  a  1'  tank  and  about  11k  for  something  smaller.  I  may  be  mistaken  though  (not  by  much)  as  I  was  looking  through  so  many  products  that  day.

T5  lighting  all  the  way.  The  price  difference  is  so  huge  you  cannot  not  take  money  into  account.  And  for  a  nano  tank  that  too.  If  you  must  go  for  LED  then  DIY  it
