Hi planters
I have a planted tank with cabomba, ludwigia, HM, amazon, blyxa japonica, dwarf grass. but after trimming the plants
1. The top side is always returned to the tank
2. the rest of the plant has to be kept again in another tank till it develops a new shoot
3. Cabomba's midstem becomes dark green and the top remains pale green
4. ludwigia starts bending and new shoots come out from sides.
5. Liliies out grow the tank.
what is the best way to keep the plants in right shapeand not loose the scaping, because its realy not right to throw away the trimmings. |

You dont need to remove the bottoms just plant the cutting next to it and it will make it look more bushy |

Percy bhai! You NEVER throw away those trimmings. That's why we have 'WTS/E/G' sub forum, for the less fortunate people. And you have the MAM meet in Mumbai... |

I couldnt see how shelly trimmed his tank. His album was so complex, I couldnt make out which was trimmed and which was over grown
has some one got a picture of just the base of the plants upon soil? |

I love the plant setups with platies. Nicely done. I think the plant on the log is some moss. The white and orange combo coloured fish is a platy-molly cross or did the swordtail get naughty with any one of this?
Cheers,
Karthik |
