Lugia:  Rotola  wallachi  in  your  tank(3rd  stem  plant  from  the  left  in  the  back)  need  high  light  and  co2.  So  it  is  not  a  good  choice  for  your  tank.
If  you  can  come  to  hebbal,  I  will  give  you  enough  plants  that  will  sustain  in  your  tank.  I  could  have  brought  it  to  the  meet  but  I  am  going  home  this  week  end  after  long  time.

With  all  due  respect  You  have  joined  IAH  on  2008  ,  you  have  above  TWO  THOUSAND  FIVE  HUNDRED  posts  and  all  you  have  showcased  in  planted  tank  is  below  two  ......

In  the  above.  In  a  low  light  tank  you  have  stuffed  in  cabomba, ludwigia, blyxa, riccia, macranda  which  are  all  high  light  plants.
At  least  this  kid  is  better.  He  has  brought  only  one  wrong  plant(rotola  Wallachi)  to  his  humble  tank  and  that  too  on  his  first  attempt.

@mortis  -  thanks  for  the  clarification,  thats  what  i  was  trying  to  say

@  Aquacrazy_Ash  -  thanks  a  lot  Smile  ill  keep  posting  pics  in  the  future.  I  know  what  you're  saying.

@  coldfear39  -Yes  i  knew  that  it  is  also  called  the  indian  zebra.

@garothmaan  -  I  understand  what  you're  saying,  but  as  jabba  has  said,  i'm  only  a  student  (college  though,  not  highschool)  and  this  aquarium  was  assembled  on  a  low  budget  and  therefore  has  many  limitations.

@  jabba  -  thanks  for  your  support  Smile  i  was  also  wondering  whether  the  Rotola  wallachi  was  a  high  light  plant  as  it  isnt  growing  at  all  in  my  tank.  I  guess  i  shouldve  checked  before  i  bought  them.  And  thanks  for  your  offer,  Can  i  come  to  hebbal  sometime  this  week  to  pick  up  plants?

Gorothmaan  that's  because  you  have  diy  co2  in  your  tank.

There  are  some  of  us  "college  kids"  who  are  learning  very  fast  on  fish  keeping.  Lugia_111  got  his  Interest  in  this  hobby  only  6  months  ago  and  now  has  this  tank  and  two  others.  We  have  interest  in  fishkeeping  more  than  riding  a  bike  or  anything  like  that.

And  this  tank  is  only  2months  old  during  which  half  the  time  it  didn't  have  any  light  source.

I  think  putting  goldfish  in  a  planted  tank  is  an  elementary  mistake...

So  in  your  opinion,  there  is  no  planted  tank  with  goldfish?

I  amnot  discouraging  you,  I  am  only  trying  to  change  your  Idean  about  a  Planted  tank  and  a  properly  Scaped  tank  which  requires  great  effort.

Yes  there  are  Garothman........but  then  the  plants  should  be  like  anubias.  Even  I  had  one  3.5  footer  with  orandas  where  I  had  many  anubias.  I  had  removed  the  orandas  for  native  fish,  1.5  years  back......

Ok  let  us  be  in  peace  and  stop  this  nonsense.
I  am  sorry  for  being  rude  at  times.  Please  consider  it  as  part  and  parcel  of  being  human.
I  will  try  to  do  some  Yoga  and  see  if  works  ROFL   ROFL

Lugia  please  come  and  pick  up  the  plant  today........  And  hope  to  see  the  tank  matured  with  plants  and  you  grow  up  as  a  perfect  aquarist
Sorry  I  really  thought  you  were  in  10th  or  maximum  12  th  not  beyond  that  Very Happy   Chuckle
