 Hey  folks,

I  setup  my  new  tank  at  office.
Want  to  keep  it  as  simple  as  possible,  as  I  may  not  want  to  do  too  much  of  maintenance  work  at  office.
I  plan  to  add  RC  shrimps  to  start  with  (sometime  nxt  week).

 Tank  dimensions:  31  X  18  X  20  cm
Equipment:  Hangon  filter  and  a  table  light

Plants:  Weeping  moss  and  Windelov  Java  fern

 Day  2  pic:

@ilangv...You  cannot  bring  out  the  beauty  of  RC  with  decorative/white  sand.  Shrimps  will  be  stressed  by  this  bright  color!!!!  Try  to  change  the  sand  or  top  up  with  dark  grade...preferably  black.

 Regards,
 Senthil.

 Hi  All,

Thank  you  for  the  inputs.  Will  try  to  make  a  few  changes  .  But  I  would  still  prefer  going  with  white  sand  but  cover  most  of  the  ground  with  stones  and  moss  to  the  color  is  not  too  bright.

Ilangv,  Just  one  thing  i  would  like  to  recommend  is  that,  if  possible  try  reduce   the  substrate   level,  as  your  going  for  just  the  ferns  and  mosses,
maybe  a  cm.  Besides  this,  if  possible  place  the  rocks  with  moss  on  the  sides  and  the  windelov  in  the  middle  with  a  bit  elevation
(more  rocks  or  anything  below)  to  cover  a  bit  height  to  match  with  the  tank  height,
 Looking  forward  for  updates  :)

 Regards,
 KHARE

 Hi  Khare,

Thanks  for  the  suggestion.  Will  play  around  a  little  and  send  you  an  updated  pic  in  sometime.
I  actually  gathered  a  few  more  rocks.  Will  tie  moss  to  them  and  place  them  this  week.

+1  with  senthil  on  the  cherry  shrimp  colour  on  bright  sand

ALso  Add  some  needle  leaf  java  fern  behind  the  windlev  fern.  Needle  leaf  will  give  a  dense  forest  look  to  that  corner  as  it  will  be  tall.  Also  since  the  leaf  is  not  too  wide  it  will  suit  your  scape
