 Stop  feeding  him.

Check  if  his  scales  are  sticking  out.  Look  at  him  from  above  to  check.

Try  giving  him  daphnia  or  mosquito  larva  after  a  couple  of  days  fasting.

 Pics  would  be  helpful.

Make  sure  he  is  warm  enough  and  you  are  keeping  up  with  water  changes  regularly.

 Regards,
 Venkat

 Prevention  is  better  then  cure.
 1)  keep  the  water  clean.  Water  change  50%  every  week.
 2)  daphnea  as  Venkat  said.  Along  with  Betta  pallets  which  has  spirulina.  These  two  clears  up  the  tummy  and  keeps  Betta  in  good  shape.  Get  hikari  Betta  pellets.  Best  food  in  the  market.
 3)  varied  diet  keep  immunity.  Good  water  and  no  over  feeding  will  keep  problems  away.
 4)  Epsom  salt  is  good  for  bettas  for  clearing  stomach.  And  non  iodosed  salt  will  take  out  extra  fluids  out  of  bettas.  These  two  salts  are  safe  to  be  used.
Once  a  week  try  feeding  the  Betta  some  blanched  chopped  peas.
If  he  don't  except  then  keep  him  hungry  for  a  day.   Next  day  offer  again.
These  are  the  healthy  way  to  keep  a  Betta  happy.  If  you  follow  these  then  you  will  never  ask  for  meds.

Chetan  will  help  you  with  some  daphnea  or  moina.  If  you  r  from  Bangalore.  Or  else  As  i  said  try  spirulina  mix  with  food.  Both  are  great.
