 @shs1
 Sodium  hydroxymethanesulfonate  will  remove  both  chlorine  and  chloramines.
 Most  branded  products  contain  this  but  they  are  damn  expensive.
 We  have  an  idea  how  to  create  the  solution  to  use  it  for  our  aquariums  but   we  are  still  trying  to  source  the  powder.

 Raj  from  Bangalore  used  to  package  and  sell  his  dechlorinator  and  it  also  removes  chloramines.
 I  believe  Matsyavatar  stocked  it.

 That  said,  does  any  municipality  in  India  actually  use  chloramine?
 I  didnt  think  so  because  of  the  cost  compared  to  cheap  availability  of  chlorine.

 Venkat

 I  am  following  below  procedure  to  remove  chlorine  from  water,  Explained  be  Deepakg(Mumbai)  and  Mario(bangalore).

 1.  Keep  the  water  contains  chlorine  in  a  bucket  in  safer  place  for  24hrs  (I  keep  for  48+).
 2.  *Do  not  cover  the/close  the  bucket.
 3.  After  24hrs  you  have  best  water  for  your  aquarium.
