Hello all,
I am a fish hobbyist from Mumbai. Currently I am into Discus Aquaculture.
I was recently introduced to IAH by Mr. Pio Lanhares ( and I am glad he did so ).
I just wanted to thank every body who has been associated with the site. From the developers to the members and the regular visiting guests too. Simply because these kind of platforms are truly essential for knowledge empowerment.
Lastly to conclude, would like to thank Pio for his generous help in teaching me Live Wormi Culture and providing me with all that was required, from starter cultures to the info on their cultivation.
Hope to meet all concerned in one of your monthly meet-ups.

Hello All,
Just wanted to keep all concerned updated on the Grindal Worm Culture that I am Having.
Originally started about a month back or so, today I have having thriving cultures of the Grindal Worms.
I am currently culturing them in 12 different containers, simply to meet the demand of the numerous hungry mouths.
These worms are currently being cultured in a mixture of coco peat and activated carbon and are fed on carrots, bread n yogurt along with oat meal and spirulina.
In case any one interested in starting off with a starter culture, is most welcome to come and collect.

Hello All,
Attached are some pics of my Grindal Worms Culture. I have 12 such boxes. Each 4 boxes receive a different source of food thus enabling my fishes to get a varied diet in return.
These pics are of the ones that are fed on Organic brown bread along with plain yogurt and a topping of oat meal.

Welcome Amod Thats great. please share with us how you prepare the food for the grindals. specially carrot.
Also note... Sweet potatoes and palak both are rich in carotene. whome are you feeding the grindals did you notice any change.
We would love to see your discus. |

Hello all,
With regret I wish to let all of the forum members & the senior members know that I could not contribute greatly to the IAH forums due to dyer circumstances with family & work.
How ever with an attempt to make it up I shall be a regular visitor & contributor here on.
Also, please be informed that during the course of my association with a couple of members in the forums, I may have unwillingly hurt the thoughts & expectations out of me, for which I sincerely apologize.
Also, though I sell a couple of my fish that breed at my home, I am not a business man in the said field. Its just that the sale in turn gets transferred back to the hobby. Better filters better tanks so on and so forth.
Request all of you to treat me as an hobbyist & nothing more !!! |
