Hello folks :)
I have a 120 (US) gallon tank at home with these dimensions (L X B H ): 4' X 2' X 2'. The tank has been running for the last 5 years. I have 4 medium to large Parrot Cichlids in them and a Dolphin C-1300 canister filter running 24/7 at present. The canister filter is showing it's age now and I was planning to replace it. However, I was thinking of not buying another new canister filter and setting up the following filtration method instead:
2 X JEBO 2,100 litre/ hour filters (packed with the existing filter media from the canister).
1 X JEBO 2,100 litre/ hour filter + 1 X 1,200 litre/ hour over-head top-filter (both packed with filter media from existing canister)
This would actually help me a lot in terms of the space that will be saved in and around the tank as well as keep the filtration equipment inside the tank. Also, it will be easier on the costs as well.
Need some thoughts on this so I would really appreciate if someone can kindly tell me if the above filtration plan will work.
