You  can  get  a  culture  of  earthworms  from  any  vermi-compost  maker

In  the  Fish  Food  section  there  is  a  sticky  post  on  how  to  keep  an  earthworm  culture  running

 Hello  all,

I  am  not  sure  if  fellow  hobbyist  are  aware  of  the  fact  that  the  microworm  culture  can  be  stored  in  refrigerator...   This  is  to  preserve  the  starter  culture  just  in  case  you  loose  the  entire  culture  due  to  being  out  of  station  for  long...   I  tried  n  it's  working  fine...  Its  been  a  week  now...  The  growth  is  slow  but  the  worms  r  alive  and  active...  On  a  video  in  YouTube  they  say  the  culture  exist  for  as  long  as  6  months  and  the  worms  stay  alive  at  extreme  cold  temperatures..  Not  sure  about  this...  I  am  trying  to  know  how  long  it  exists...  Try  storing  a  little  starter  culture  in  fridge  NOT  IN  FREEZER  though  and  let  me  know  your  views...
