Ok, so there are two things:
1. How to quick-start the cycling process for a newly setup tank, where the denitrifying bacteria are not present which helps to break down the ammonia in the tank which otherwise is toxic to the fish.
2. How to help promote growth of denitrifying bacteria and keeping the environment clean by preventing Anaerobic organism to thrive which are not good for denitrifying bacteria.
What you have got is no.1 (This will only help you to quick start the cycling process and help you introduce fish immediately). Using what you have got now will not harm your fish. But you need not use it regularly as denitrifying bacteria colonize themselves over a period of few weeks.
After that you must stick on to do frequent partial water change and can also consider API Stress Zyme. This will take care of no.2 (http://www.apifishcare.com/product.php?id=653#.VPM3gC4XGDk)
So in case if you are doing a complete water change and clean your entire aquarium then you must start from no.1

Like Arun said API stress zyme is really good product comparing to quick start, because quick start you can use only in initial stage but stress zyme you can use once you disturb the substrate or replanting, but check the expiry date of the bottle because most of the sellers have expired bottle if you use the expired one it's very toxic to your aquarium even API itself told not to use bottle expired stress zyme product because the bacteria should've died already and it will become toxic, so do keep a eye on that.
