My angels are also breeding! The problem I got is that I have more males than females, so the eggs never survive the night. So, I separated the pair to a separate tank! |

Congrats buddy for getting the pair located to a different tank. Now start conditioning the pair by giving them proper food and let them settle in the tank. My wishes with you, it is always a treat to watch the pair laying eggs, taking care of them and then breed into many fishes.
All the best |

Hey, can you help me here. I had 8 small angels from which I got 2 breeding pair, an extra male, one still small and 2 passed away. The older pair laid eggs 3 times before in another tank, but none of it hatched. Another new pair has formed in the main tank. Yesterday, after doing a water change, both the pairs have laid eggs. Now how do I hatch those eggs??? Should I add methylene blue??? |

Hey guys, is there anything 'home-made' that can be fed to angelfish fries? This time the eggs hatched (I thought that these eggs will not hatch like previous ones!). The fries still have their egg-sack, and I searched for fry food but could not find it in shops. I have ordered a Hikari first bite; but it will take a week to reach me. Anything I can feed the fries till then? My last option would be to collect green water from a local lake! |

I fed my yellow lab cichlids fry with decapsulated brine shrimp eggs and finely crushed Hikari Gold pellets. Both were readily eaten up. You may give this a try. |

And yes, forgot to mention, I started feeding only after egg-sack were consumed. Also, had used similar feeding for my betta fries as well. |

Hi, you can try feeding them the yolk of a boiled egg. But he careful uneaten food will immediately foul the water. Do a siphon after half an hour. I used small snails |
