Hi;
Is it mandatory to add all these liquid fertilizers in the planted tanks,as i have seen some international fish forum,youtube videos which says to add all these liquid items given below;
1.Iron
2.Potassium
3.Phoshorous
4.Nitrogen
5.What brands to buy(which is best used by iah)

Siddhartha, It all depends on what kind of set up you have.
The fertilizer demand is driven by 2 things, Lighting and co2 levels.
If you have a low light tank and moderately planted tank, then you can ignore the fertilizer dosing.
All said and done, even the plants needs to chosen as per the Lighting we are ready to provide.

In my high light tanks, All these fertilizers are added 3 times a week. In the low light tank with anubias and ferns it is 3 -4 times a month. As Nidhi mentioned, most of our tanks are limited by Light and CO2. So you need to add the ferts in the right balance.
Even in low light tanks adding ferts will show a marked difference in growth rate of plants.
You can buy, Potassium sulphate and Nitrate from you local nursery or fertilizer shop. you get it in 1 kg packs and these will last you a few years. since you have a large tank, you can dry dose the ferts directly using measuring spoons. you can use chuck gadd dosing calculator to calculate to amount.
Weekly water changes will take care of micro nutrients. Ensure proper water circulation in the tank.
