My ISTA Plastic NRV(Check valve) was always leaking CO2. I could not fix that so I bought ISTA Stainless Steel NRV.
For ISTA Stainless Steel NRV, there is no leakage but the tube kept coming out when the pressure builds up to peak. My diffuser was working okay and releasing the CO2 out to aquarium.
Finally the tube stopped coming out after I put O-Ring (from the regulator) around the tube and put addition rubber-band to keep it in place.
So I am wondering what is a good way to connect NRV so as to make sure it doesn't leak and does not come out? I am also wondering whether stainless steel NRV was really a necessity (as I have seen LFS using plastic one).
