My  vision  is  of  a  large  5  foot  tank

that  has  a  background  planting  of  ambulias  and  the  mid/foreground  being  a  bushy  lawn  of  hairgrass.

The  tank  should  have  a  school  of  Puntius  tmabraparni  (the  fish  i  have  in  my  avtar)  swiming  around  in  a  tight  school.  The  cotract  between  the  orange  and  the  green  will  be  stunning.

Could  have  a  few  Danios  to  add  a  touch  of  blue!

But  most  of  all  i  would  wish  for  a  chiller  :-)

Low  maintenance  planted  tank  kept  near  window,  natural  sun  lighting,  no  filter,  no  aeration,  low  maintenance  fish  guppies,  tetras,  angels,  once  in  2  weeks  water  change......  feeding  once  a  day....  just  how  i  used  to  maintain  my  "no  tech"  planted  tank  back  in  1975....  fish  breath  in  o2  and  breath  out  co2,  plants  absorb  co2  and  generate  o2,  fish  poop  becomes  plant  fertilizer......  absolutely  no  algae  problem......

Gokul,  uncharted  territory.  i  hope  to  get  them  on  Thursday.  I  suspect  that  they  grow  to  not  more  than  4  inches,  prefer  soft  water  and  are  greedy  omnivores.  Must  be  bottom/middle  dwellers.

Dont  expect  to  breed  them  though!  I  am  told  that  a  very  similar  species  exists  in  Kerala  or  Karnataka.  wish  me  luck!

*wish*....a  6  foot  planted  tank.  Loads  of  "low  maintenance"  plants  and  some  neat  fish...  and,  most  importantly,  a  school  of  robotic  Discus  with  A.I  to  respond.  If  they  help  in  keeping  the  tank  clean  with  built  in  sensors  and  water  conditioning  systems,  it  would  be  nice  to  have.  A  bunch  of  optical  fibers  bringing  in  sunlight  from  the  roof  into  the  room.
