 NO,  they  need  some  more  work-out!
 I  told  you  to  elevate  your  LR  by  using  some  base  rocks  -  you  just  re-arranged  them!  Try  to  aim  for  a  rock  structure  that  has  minimal  contact  with  substrate  this  will  be  of  immense  help  to  you  in  your  routine  maintainence.

If  you  are  going  to  convert  to  a  reef,  you  can  always  remove  the  UG  at  that  time...obviously  once  you  have  enough  media  for  nitrification.

 EXACTLY!

 Quick  question  -  Aren't  rotifiers  the  same  as  infusoria?
 If  so  its  pretty  easy  to  culture  them,  in  fact,  if  you  have  an  outdoor  tank  with  green  water  in  it;  thats  your  culture  right  there.

 Very  neat  tank  ,  Sampath.  Is  it  in  some  kind  of  office?  If  so,  you  have  to  watch  the  temperature  if  you  have  an  AC  in  there.

@Lalu,
 nothing  wrong  in  using  an  UGF  -  indeed!
 But,  why  use  something  that  is  going  to  compete  with  the  LR  for  nutrition  -  we  make  FOWLR  tanks  because  we  want  to  take  maximum  advantage  of  the  complete  filtration  by  mother  nature  itself!  Why  add  something  artificial  to  compete  with  the  balance?

 Standby  -  All  that  i  would  say.  There  is  nothing  to  lose  afterall!  Moreover,  one  of  the  common  mistakes  ought  to  be  made  by  any  beginner  is  over-stocking  -  Comes  handy  often.  Playing  a  safe  game  with  bio-filteration  is  a  wise  decision,  i  always  feel.  Just  imagine,  a  heavily  decorated  tank  and  one  of  the  those  small  fishes  lying  dead  somewhere,  but  out  of  your  tong's  reach.  The  scavenger  crew  would  handle  most  the  dead  fish.  Here,  you  can  safely  rely  on  your  provision  that  you  gave.

 @psimhan

 Infusoria  may  not  survive  for  long  in  saltwater,  i  feel.  The  tight  ball  of  fry,  that  i  have  seen,  hardly  take  any  interest,  unless  there  is  something  to  pass  by.

 @Laluprasad,
 there  is  a  difference  between  a  bio-filter  and  a  'complete'  bio  filter  -  the  choice  is  yours!
