Hi  Vikaram  -  I  have  5  neon  POTO's  in  one  tank.  They  eat  pellets  as  well  as  frozen  prawns.

If  your  concerned  about  it  not  eating  pellets,  dont  feed  them  for  a  day  or  two  and  then  start  with  pellets.

 It  should  eat.

 Hi  vikram,
Just  starve  him  for  2  days  and  then  feed  him  with  pellets.  He  will  surely  eat  them.  Thumb Up

I  am  feeding  my  POTO  with  pellets  only.

The  result  will  be  100%  good.  Smile

I  suggest  you  guys  refrain  from  feeding  guppies  in  juvenile  stages.

Better  stick  on  with  high  quality  pellets  and  prawns  as  a  occassional  treat  (  not  on  daily  basis)  .

 Thanks

True.  Its  better  not  to  feed  live  fishes  to  these  juveniles.

 Guys,

If  you  feed  them  with  small  feeder  guppies,  then  they  will  grow  much  faster  than  ever,  Because  he  have  to  run  each  &  every  time  to  catch  his  food  and  this  will  be  a  good  excersice  for  him.  Thats  why  I  have  suggested  small  feeder  guppies.  Smile

 @  DJ  Rocky,

Your  suggestion  of  giving  good  exercise  to  fishes  to  make  it  grow  faster  sounds  very  illogical.  Shocked

I  wonder  if  this  logic  works  out  then  all  front  keepers  should  give  them  feeder  guppies.  ROFL

 Thanks

 @  KS

I  dont  know  weither  it  will  work  on  frontosa  or  not  but  it  really  works  on  Flower  Horns  and  I  am  saying  this  from  my  personal  experience.

I  am  still  rearing  my  FH  like  this.  It  really  works  good  for  me.

and  for  your  kind  information  Frontosa  &  FH's  are  not  same,  they  both  are  different  from  each  other  and  you  know  it  well.

I  don't  know  about  the  exercise  but  feeding  these  juveniles  with  live  fish  is  a  bit  risky  unless  the  feeder  fish  are  home  bred.

 Mitra,
for  this  reason  I  am  totally  agree  with  you.  Thumb Up

But  if  you  guys  have  any  extra  empty  tank  or  bucket,  then  you  can  treat  feeder  guppies  for  3  days  with  50%  water  changes  daily  &  add  some  rock  salt  on  every  wc.

Please  Note  :  give  them  small  feeder  guppies,  not  the  big  ones.  Smile
