When   all  are  dreaming  about  a  nature  aquarium  and  Iwagumi,  you  have  created  a  difference  with  this  dutch  style.  Simply  awesome.  No  more  words.

Woow  thats  an  unbelievably  awesome  tank  Surprised.  Is  that  the  same  one  that  you  entered  in  the  aquascaping  competition  held  here  last  year?  what  a  transformation.  Do  you  still  have  the  pogostemon  helferi  in  the  freground  or  did  you  get  rid  of  it?  i  just  loved  the  pogostemon  in  the  foreground  in  your  old  tank  pic.

 Awsome  tank  harshal.
Is  that  growth  of  plants  in  just  1.5  months?.
Do  you  have  a  pic  of  the  tank  during  the  setup  ?
I  wish  to  see  the  way  the  terracing  is  done.

 Hi  Harshal
 Great  work  pal,  super  tank,
I  personally  feel  that  the  photo  does  not  do  justice  to  the  actually  beauty  of  the  tank.  I  think  that  the  tank  is  far  more  beautiful  than  the  photo  makes  it  to  be.
I  have  always  been  your  fan

 Hi  All
   Â
Â I  have  edited  my  first  post  giving  a  few  more  details  on  dosing  and  lights  in  the  tank.

Thank  you  so  much  for  the  appretiation  shown,  it's  such  a  pleasure  coming  from  fellow  hobyists.

 @  camy
Â   Yes  it  is  the  same  tank.

 @  Ajith
Â   Â Thanks  buddy!  The  detailing  was  done  keeping  in  mind  that  people  who  look  at  this  tank  must  also  know  what  has  gone  into  it.  It  helps  understand  a  System  better.

 @TIMS
Well  I  guess  in  bangalore  what  works  in  favour  of  a  planted  aquarium  is  the  work  put  by  some  seniors  in  the  begining,  avilabilty  of  plants  and  acsesories  and  the  fact  that  there  are  a  lot  of  hobbyists  in  bagalore  into  planted  aquariums  and  most  of  us  are  in  touch  with  each  other  so  sourcing  products  is  also  easier.

 @  Bala

Â   The  harley  Queens  are  showing  extremly  vibrant  colours  the  pic  will  definately  add  to  it....I  guess  Smile
Â   Â The  reason  for  50%  WC  is  that  I  am  using  the  EI  method  for  dosing,  and  over  the  last  2  years  have  seen  this  work  the  best,  to  keep  the  system  stable,  no  matter  how  small  a  fish  load  one  might  have.

 @asimabdulhameed

Â Redmud  is  basically  the  soil  used  for  gardens  and  lawns,  its  avilabnle  in  most  nurseries  in  bangalore.  Make  sure  you  get  plain  red  mud,  nothing  like  pesticides  should  be  mixed  in  it.

   @  Irshad
Â   Â I  guess  old  is  gold!  Â Smile  Â The  scaping  was  changed  as  I  wanted  to  try  a  few  different  plantsin  the  tank  and  lost  a  few  well  set  ones  to  change  in  the  qaulity  of  source  water,  had  a  few  water  issues  in  the  apartment  which  still  continue  Sad  ......I  guess  I  just  can't  keep  my  hands  off  Â Smile

   Regards
   Â Harshal

 Hi  all

    @  ashwin

You  are  most  welcome  give  me  a  call  the  next  time  you  are  in  bangalore  and  you  can  definately  come  home.

 @  Thirtha
Well  I  have  always  been  facinated  with  the  dutch  set  up,  hoping  to  get  a  tleast  2  more  aquariums  this  year  to  try  something  different..hopefully  will  work  out,  keeping  my  fingers  crossed.

 @  Roshan
Sorry  but  I  haven’t  been  able  to  take  any  snaps  during  set  up  as  I  manged  to  loose  my  camera  the  snaps  I  have  put  up  are  from  a  friends  camera.  The  terracing  has  been  done  using  acrylic  sheets,  specially  for  the  lobelias  that  I  have  in  2  patches.  everything  else  was  using  stones  and  wood,  like  the  windelow  fern  etc.

   @  Mr.Kiran  &  suraj

Thanks.  Well  their  might  be  a  few  changed  but  am  hoping  to  stay  happy  with  this  for  a  while....  Even  the  previous  scape  was  maintained  for  nearly  a  year.

      @  Mayur
I  agree  with  you  it's  always  a  better  view  in  person.....  thanks  again.  Very Happy

   @  Beta
Thanks!  Well  hopefully  in  a  few  more  months  well  get  it  to  look  better.  Then  may  be  AGA........  Smile

I'll  try  and  post  a  few  more  pics  meanwhile.....Thank  you  once  again  everybody  for  the  support!!!

 Regards
   Harshal
