 Hi  Joyban,
Those  are  wonderful  pictures  of  your  pond  with  wonderful  plants  and  a  lot  of  fishers  i  think  there  are  some  yellow  lelupis,  rainbows  could  not  locate  any  angels.  Anyway  it  is  a  fanastic  setup.  You  have  welcomed  questions?  Let  me  first  begin  as  to  whether  u  have  a  filtration  working,  what  do  u  feed,  how  may  times  u  change  the  water,  what  substrate  have  u  used,  how  old  is  your  setup,  have  u  got  direct  sunlight  because  I  do  not  see  any  algae  problems?  Would  be  kind  enough  to  know  maybe  even  benefit  the  members.  where  are  u  based.
Any  way  once  again  a  nice  setup!  keep  it  up

 Hi  Joyban!
   Very Happy
I  love  these  kind  of  ingenious  ideas.  My  Aunt  in  Pune  uses  her  old  bathtub  to  grow  lotus  and  fish.  But  hers  are  edible  fish.  My  uncle  just  threw  some  live  fish  into  the  tub,  and  they  are  multiplying  rapidly.  And  no,  they  don't  eat  the  fish.  My  litle  cousin  would  otherwise  scream  the  universe  down!Rolling Eyes

Her  lotus  blooms  beautifully,  and  I've  had  the  privilege  of  having  seen  the  beautiful  pink  flowers  on  several  occassions.

 ok

 Thanks  for  the  comments...

 Lets  answer  your  questions..

 1.  do  you  have  any  kind  of  mechanical  filtration  forthis  pond?
No  None  at  all.  All  I  do  Is  everyday  over  flow  the  water  ,  with  normal  tap  water  for  10  minutes  or  so.

 2.    me  first  begin  as  to  whether  u  have  a  filtration  working,
No  None  ref  to  answer  1.

 3.  What  do  u  feed  ?

Well  I  feed  them  dry  food  flakes  once  every  three  days  and  live  warms  twice  a  week,  they  I  guess  have  enough  natural  food.

 4.  How  may  times  u  change  the  water
I  do  not  change  water  at  all..  I  just  keep  on  overflowing  water  every  day  for  10  min.  that's  it.

 5.  what  substrate  have  u  used
Well  It  is  Silver  Sand  &  Golden  Sand  Mixed  up  with  some  mud  and  "Desi  Gobar  Khaad"  ,  for  the  Lotus  in  the  Pots  it  is  Pure  Gobar  Khaad  with  Mud  Mixed..  All  Natural  Elements  as  you  would  find  in  nature.

 6.  how  old  is  your  setup,
I  started  it  in  July  2004

 7.  have  u  got  direct  sunlight  because  I  do  not  see  any  algae  problems?
Yes  Direct  Sunlight  for  Three  Hours  from  2pm  to  5pm  ,  but  there  are  lot  of  yellow  snails..  they  too  have  multiplied  from  Six  To  50's  now  ..  but  I  guess  the  algae  is  away  because  of  the  Snales  I  think  So..  May  be  the  Cichlids  have  alos  eaten  some.  But  Amazingingly  the  water  has  always  been  clean  and  clear...

8.Would  be  kind  enough  to  know  maybe  even  benefit  the  members.  where  are  u  based.

Based  In  New  Delhi  -  India

 Hey  Joyban,

Your  Set  up  is  really  amazing  and  beautiful  .  Keep  up  the  good  work.  Keep  posting  these  pics  too  they  are  really  amazing.  You  have  inspired  me  to  make  my  own  natural  pond  for  my  little  swordtails  and  Mollies.

 Hi  Joyban,

Very  good  setup  and  looks  like  one  of  its  kind.

I  guess  with  your  knowledge  you  have  inspired  most  of  us  to  create  a  natural  wonder  like  this  in  the  near  future.  And  if  i'm  not  wrong  some  would  have  started  the  same  by  now.

 God  Bless.

 Regards,
 Surya
