 Hi  All,
On  7th  march  i  got  my  new  tank  since  i  wanted  to  upgrade.
tanks  measures  36x21x21  with  a  5x5  inbuilt  overflow  box  which  has  a  3/4"  hole  drilled.  The  tank  is  made  of  12mm  float  glass.  I  have  got  all  the  edges  ground/polished  except  for  the  ones  that  are  used  for  sticking.  The  tank  is  made  using  black  silicone(wanted  to  try  something  new)  and  dark  blue  vinyl  sheet  stuck  on  the  back  glass.

Since  i  had  everything  in  my  old  tank  for  the  past  8  months  or  so,  I  added  everything  including  the  Zooa's  mushrooms  and  fish  to  the  new  tank,  I  did  not  see  a  cause  of  concern  since  most  of  the  stuff  was  from  my  old  tank  and  dont  think  there  will  be  a  big  cycling  problem.

As  of  now  i  have  dumped  all  the  rocks  and  corals  into  the  new  tank  and  made  a  temp  arrangement  for  the  lights  and  skimmer,  I  have  yet  to  do  the  plumbing  and  add  the  sump  and  refuge.

check  out  the  full  tank  shots  with  14000k  150w  DE  MH.

The  lime  green  ones  grow  very  fast  but  the  emerald  green  ones  which  have  smaller  polyps  grow  very  slowly.

 Hi  Rahul,

The  Zoa's  look  really  nice  -  pleasant  green  Smile

Well,  I'm  not  into  Marine,  so  don't  have  any  views  on  the  Setup,  but  a  visit  in  person  is  a  must  for  the  Zoa's  Chuckle.  That's  tempting  me  to  get  a  Marine  setup  -  reef  only,  I  hope  I  got  that  right!

May  be  it  has  to  do  something  with  the  hood???  With  all  those  light  your  tank  must  be  pretty  bright  in  all  sides.

Well  the  live  stock  looks  in  optimum  health  a  clear  indication  of  great  water  quality  !!  ..Excellent  stuff  there  rahul.

I  am  just  worried  on  the  setup  as  far  as  the  rock  placement  goes.  They  need  to  be  slightly  eleveated  so  that  there  is  no  detrius  under  the  rock  that  acumulates.  A  lot  of  critters  are  known  to  keep  powdering  the  rock  and  also  at  times  due  to  a  calcium  imbalance  that  may  occur  once  in  a  while.  (  Easly  corrected  with  the  dosing)

Also  try  n  hide  that  powerhead  behing  a  rock.  Try  using  some  plastic  ties  to  kinda  bind  the  powehead  wire  with  the  Piping.  Will  look  a  lot  neater.

Complete  your  setup  and  post  some  more  long  shots  ...

 cheers   Thumbs Up
 Nash

What  he  ment  was  that  i  had  started  this  setup  long  back  without  much  money  to  put  in,  Now  back  with  the  vengence  :-)

 @  Nash

The  iorney  is  ,  now  that  i  have  some  money  ....  i  dont  have  the  time   Sad
I  have  just  dumped  the  rocks  in  from  my  previous  tank.

I  am  in  the  process  of  making  a  stand  to  elevate  the  live  rocks  using  PVC  pipes.  All  the  power  heads  and  wires  will  dis-appear  once  i  get  my  sump  installed.  nothing  much  to  worry  abt  now  since  my  bio  load  is  minimum...  i  just  have  a  1"  clown  and  a  few  zao's  in  a  60  gallon  tank.
