I guess I have been a member here for long but probably forgot about the community (Some members from ASK yahoo group might know me)
I am Nimish, Have kept fish since I was in 6th but had to give up the hobby during the board/college years but moved to the UK in 2000 and have since re-established the hobby.
I work as an IT infrastructure architect but spend most of my time thinking and planning about my fish tanks . Married but no kids yet.
I currently only have 4 tanks (At one time I had 11 but had to chose between them and the wife):
1: 48x18x18 tank. Used to be a high light planted tank with Halides but now a general community
2: 30x15x15 tank. Open top, Walstad concept. zero maintenance, high light low fish stock... perfect success . but will be converting to a tanganyikan tank
3: 5ft tall Hexagonal acrylic tank that I will eventually turn into a paradise for angels. 120L capacity.
4: Latest pride: Salt water tank. Setup in January 08 so still in very early stages. 100 gallon setup with 40 kilos live rock, couple of zoanthids and leather corals as starters, chromis and a pair of clowns... watch this space.
Have a Aqua one cube that is spare which eventually I will setup either as a Betta tank or maybe some shell dwellers.

I've been a member for a few weeks now, and besides very few actual posts. Have so far been lurking in the shadows and reading past posts. So thought it might be best to introduce myself properly.
I am 30, and a qualfied non-practising Equine Veterinarian. I run a small suburb-based pharma co. and life is Good. I've been in the hobby for almost a dozen or so years. I've a thing for arowana's,I currently own a rather nice 13" RTG that I've had for litle over a year. I also have four silvers that outgrew my tanks and have since moved to an earthen pond at our farm in Mangaon. I'd be tickled pink if they breed, but I'd imagine that would be a bit far-fetched.
I've a few pictures here of my tank at home, that used to house the Silver's That am currently converting to a planted. Which is why I'm here.

I am inteersted in native fishes too, i had a few loaches and catfish, with other small barbs previously.
